We focus on the basics that matter: leading, tying, grooming, picking up feet, trailer loading introduction, handling, and confidence-building.

Our training program is designed to meet each horse where they are — building understanding step by step through groundwork, first rides, and consistent work under saddle.

90-day minimum.
Includes indoor stabling, shavings, hay, and grain.

Not every trip to a horse show is about competing.
Meet Tottie! This 2-year-old first came to Charlie Horse as a yearling for groundwork and has been back in training with Jamie since the spring.
Last weekend, Tottie made his first trip to a ranch horse show. No classes, no pressure — just an opportunity to take in the sights, sounds, and atmosphere.
These early experiences are all part of building a confident, well-rounded horse.
Tottie is one of our young reining prospects, and we’re excited to share more of his progress as he develops.
A big thank you to his owners, Nate May and Savanna Parker, for trusting us with his training!

This invite-only group is focused on Western Performance, barrels, speed events, horsemanship, and building riders who understand the work behind the run.
Team practices are designed to help riders build confidence, timing, pattern knowledge, sportsmanship, and consistency in a supportive environment.
