Witcher is a 2 and a half year old Pit Bull/Alaskan Husky Mix and he is a very familiar face to me. I hiked with him several times last year. He is back at the shelter through no fault of his own and SO deserves a true forever home. 🥹
Witcher is a fun loving pup with THE cutest overbite (so very charming and unique)! He has plenty of energy for games and hikes but can also be chill. He absolutely LOVES the water and spent a lot of time playing, swimming and lounging in the creek today. I recall he loves to play in the pool too! 🌊
Witcher has done really well with other dogs; I remember taking him on a hike with another shelter pup before and have seen him in playgroup. Today on our hike we encountered two dogs and he was just great! He was very happy to say hello to people too!

Cheska is a 6 month old German Shepherd (maybe some Aussie?) Mix and she is a SUPER sweet little girl! A little bit shy but once she warms up she's a total lovebug who gives the best hugs! 🥰
Cheska was good in the car and easy on the leash, she's still figuring out "sit" (she was busy with sniffing all the things lol), she loves to roll, chew sticks and adores tummy rubs! She also poses soo pretty. What a fancy pants! 😎

We recieve many calls about raccoons in dumpsters. The good news is, it's often an easy rescue that anyone can do! Just securely wedge a sturdy branch, board, or other make-shift ladder in there, then give them some privacy and a little time to climb out on their own.
Many of these little guys are healthy juveniles that have followed mom in for a midnight snack and aren't quite big enough to climb out. If they have the opportunity to escape, they'll take it, and they'll find their way back to mom.
