Hello my fellow rat lovers!
I am still closed for adoptions at this time. I do have pairings planned for each of my lines, and I am excited for things in my life to settle down so I can have the time for new litters.
I have had a lot of people reach out to ask about other ratteries in the area. I can highly recommend Fuzzy Peach Exotics-New in DeKalb! Healthy, wonderful rats, and a knowledgeable and honest person to work with. 10/10
You can also check out the rat rehoming groups/pages, but PLEASE be aware that these rats can potentially have illnesses and temperament issues that the people rehoming them may not even be aware of. If you are adding to an existing mischief, you need to properly quarantine your new rats in a separate air space for at least 4 weeks, and it’s always advised to take any new rats to a vet shortly after bringing them home. After quarantine, intros of new rats to your existing rats should be done slowly and closely supervised. It’s great to adopt rats in need, please don’t get me wrong! I just want you to be prepared to provide the appropriate care. I want good outcomes for the rats, and for you. And adopting from people who don’t know what they are doing (no matter how much they may insist that they do) means that you are not always getting good information.
