Hello!
We are excited to announce that we are offering several new indoor classes for the summer.
On April 30th, four-week training sessions for: Pulling and Jumping - Crate Games - Recall will begin.
The first week of May, we have several indoor training options available. Classes include Scent Work, Advanced Tricks, Puppy Class, Rally Freestyle, Urban Agility, Tracking, Introduction to Agility, and Basic Obedience. There are classes for everyone.
Class space is limited. Contact Mary with any questions and to sign up for classes.

We have four gorgeous AKC/ASCA Australian Shepherd puppies born December 2, 2024, who are ready for their forever homes.

They will make great service animals, working dogs, or just fabulous pets. There are 3 males and 1 female. Tails have been docked and declaws removed. Current on shots and dewormed.
They are very sweet, smart, and playful. They kennel trained, potty trained and great with other animals!!

Hello Pet Lovers!!

CORRECTION: Snake Avoidance Training Class will be on Sunday, March 30th, 2025

Here is our monthly calendar for March 2025. We have lots of excellent classes for Obedience, Agility, Scent Tracking, Rally and Working K9. As a certified dog trainer, I train through positive reinforcement using treats, attention, and toys to reach your dog training needs and have fun. We also offer private lessons to work with behavior, reactivity and aggression.

This month I will be hosting a Snake Avoidance Training class on Sunday, March 30th in Sun City. Even if your pup has previously attended a Snake Avoidance Training, we recommend a refresher training.

Hello Everyone,

November is upon us! We have much to be thankful for – including our pups!
This month I will be hosting a Snake Avoidance Training class in Sun City. I have a few spots available. Even if your pup has previously attended a Snake Avoidance Training, we recommend a refresher training.

Sundays: Obedience/Puppy Obedience – has Moved to 8:00am
Tuesdays: Rally – has Moved to 11:00am
Scent Working Tracking – Moved to 9:00AM
Thursdays: Scent Work/Tracking – has Moved to Tuesdays 9:00AM
Saturdays: Obedience/Puppy Obedience - has Moved to 9:00am

The week of Thanksgiving there will be no classes, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Enjoy your time with family, friends and your pups!

About Us

My name is Mary Price, the owner of MP Dog Training Academy. I have ten years of dog training experience with puppy training, dog obedience, behavior modification, and introduction to agility and rally. In my journey to become a certified dog trainer, through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), I have taken a variety of classes to reinforce and build upon my skills to resolve unwanted behaviors, to teach obedience, and dog sports to help dog owners develop a better connection with their dog to enrich their lives.

As a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) I am committed to becoming a better trainer through continued education as I strive to continually improve my experience and qualifications. With a tireless dedication to educating dog owners to discover the benefits of basic obedience training, I am paving the way for the owner and dog to build a working relationship that helps them learn new activities or sports as they move from basic obedience to sporting actives.
