As many of you know, we’ve been proudly serving this community for over 75 years. We’ve watched your families grow and have tried our best to be more than just a business, to be a place where neighbors feel like friends.

But like many small, family-owned shops, we’re feeling the strain. Online shopping and a tough economy have made it harder than ever for local businesses to keep their doors open. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it without you.

We also want to be transparent. We have discussed the idea of selling a part of the property as a possible future option. However, that could change. If business improves and local support grows, we may be able to stay and continue operating just as we always have. Nothing is final, we’re still fighting to remain right here.

If a sale eventually happens, our hope would be to stay on the same property, though we would need to downsize and wouldn’t be able to offer everything we do now. That’s why every customer truly matters right now.

Unfortunately, rumors and confusion have made things more difficult. When people hear “for sale,” many assume we’re closing and stop shopping with us. For a small business, that hurts, especially at a time when online shopping and large competitors like Amazon and Chewy are already creating major challenges for local stores like ours.

If you believe in the value of local businesses, in the charm, character, and knowledge they bring to our town, we hope you’ll consider supporting us in whatever way you can. Whether it’s stopping in, shopping local, spreading the word, or simply sharing this post, every bit makes a real difference.

Your support doesn’t just help a business. It helps the families who are employed here.
