Meet Resa. She’s 18 months old, 80 pounds of fluffy magnificence, and—brace yourself—actually perfect. Like, not “perfect with caveats” or “perfect if you don’t mind shredded throw pillows.” Nope. Just…perfect.

She’s a Great Pyrenees mix, which means she’s got the regal fluff, the gentle vibes, and the kind of soul that makes you question if she was sent here by celestial beings in this time of insanity. Resa is good with all humans (even the younger, stickier ones), dogs (yes, even your emotionally unstable cocker spaniel), and cats (she knows they rule the house—she’s fine with it).

She’s playful and semi-active, meaning she’s always down for a good romp in the yard and she can throw down like it's WWE, but she also believes strongly in the power of a well-timed nap attack. One moment she’s running full tilt with the pack, the next she’s snoring on your foot like a slightly majestic sack of marshmallows.

Adopt Resa if you're ready for: ✅ A best friend with majestic energy ✅ A floof who plays hard and naps harder ✅ A dog who won’t judge your snacks but will silently ask for one. She needs a home with a fenced yard and if you ask me if she sheds, the answer is you can't adopt her.

MISSING Puppy: Female Mix 4-19-25

‘Molly’ is 6 Months old/ 18lbs. Brown w/white markings. She is missing from the area of Furnace St/Main St.- Near Rte 139.

Springtime brings blooming flowers and lush gardens—but did you know some plants can be dangerous for your furry friends?

🚫 Keep an eye out for these common toxic plants:

Lilies: Extremely toxic to cats!

Daffodils: Can cause stomach upset and irritation.

Tulips: Especially the bulbs—keep curious paws away!

Azaleas & Rhododendrons: Can be harmful if ingested.

✅ Tip: Always check plants before bringing them indoors or planting in your yard. Keep your pets safe, happy, and enjoying the beautiful spring weather!

4/9/25 Great news out of Hanson this morning! Teddy has been safely trapped by MDM. We want to thank everyone who called in sightings and kept their eyes open. Many thanks to MDM Volunteers Kristen D & Stefani L-T for all their help! Welcome home Teddy! Things to also remember, that even though a dog is dragging a leash, that does not automatically mean they are hung up on something. Just this week, we have had 3 dogs dragging leashes who were able to slip their collars/harnesses or even chew them off. Don't discount how resourceful dogs can be when they need to.

ADOPTED Romeo is a gorgeous 6 month-old-kitten that needs your attention! This high energy, purring machine wants to play, play, play! Oh, don’t forget the loving either…Romeo will demand it. He has a super soft coat that will require daily brushing in order to prevent matting.

🆘🛟Okay kids -SOS-🆘 🛟Red Alert 🛟🚨

These two best friends need a new foster ASAP—through no fault of their own. Their current placement isn’t working, and we owe it to them to find the right home.

They must stay together. No other dogs unless kept separate. They’re loving, cuddly, and truly wonderful, but they’re not happy where they are, and stress is high for everyone.

We’re out of foster homes. Can you help, even temporarily? We cover food, vet care, and dog sitting if needed—you provide love and a safe space (a fenced yard would be amazing!).
