🐠 Have your pond fish been hanging out around the waterfall a lot recently? That’s because the oxygen levels decrease in the water when the temperature outside goes up. This coming week temperatures are going to be in the 90s!!! To help your fish through another hot week keep these 3 things in mind.
1. Add an aeration pump like the Terta air pump. This adds oxygen directly into the water. We have plenty in stock now.
2. Shade your pond to keep temperatures down. You can add shade with plants like floating hyacinth or water lettuce. Putting a shade sail over the pond will also help cool the water.
3. Add hose water to bring down the water temperature. Make sure to add stress coast when adding hose water.
