Meet “Dave the Magical Cheese Wizard”! 🧙‍♂️ 🧀 🐈‍⬛

She did very well for her yearly wellness exam today! Did you know that all cats should be seen at least once yearly by their veterinarian? Yearly exams help detect early signs of disease, such as dental disease, heart murmurs, etc. and allow us to intervene before major illness strikes.

Brachycephalic Airway Surgery 🐶

Did you know that those hilarious snorts and sniffles from short-faced, or brachycephalic, dogs are due to an abnormal airway? In some cases, the abnormal airway needs surgical correction, especially if the pet is having trouble breathing.

Our doctors at PAH offer Brachycephalic Airway Surgery for patients that need it. Here is an example of stenotic nares (narrow nostril) correction on Huckleberry (above) and Harley (below) performed by Dr. Dadgar. If you think your pet may benefit from this surgery, please discuss the benefits and risks with your veterinarian.
