๐ŸŒฟ Celebrating 4/20? Keep it human-only. ๐ŸŒฟ

Friendly reminder that THC in any form is not safe for pets. That's including edibles, vapes, and products like delta-8/9. Gummies and baked goods can also contain other toxins (like chocolate or xylitol), which add even more risk.

Please donโ€™t share your holiday cheer with your furry friends. ๐Ÿพ

Sometimes accidents can happen but there is no judgement here. If your pet gets into something, we are here to help! All you have to do is give us a call or walk-in and be honest about what is going on.

You can also call the ASPCA Poison Control Center or the PetPoison Helpline to get guidance on next steps. (Make sure to write down your number)

โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿพ March is Pet Poison Prevention Awareness Month ๐Ÿพโ˜ ๏ธ

Many everyday household items, foods, and plants can be toxic to our furry family members and some are more common than you might think. From certain human medications to specific plants and pantry items, accidental exposures can happen.

Now is a great time to pet-proof your home. Take a moment to check what products, foods, or plants your pet may have easy access to.

The ASPCA website offers multiple lists of potentially toxic foods, plants, and household other items that pet owners can reference to stay informed.

If you ever need to call due to a possible exposure, be sure to write down your case number. If your pet needs to be seen at a veterinary hospital, having that case number allows your veterinary team to quickly consult with poison control and determine the best next steps for treatment.

Prevention and preparation can make all the difference ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ
