We got our first kitten with swimmers syndrome.

Swimmers syndrome is when the kittens back legs didnt develop fully, looking like frogs legs, but is fully curable at Ariel's age of 4 weeks. Our talented foster is working on P/T with her and will spend some time working with her to get her back legs to go back to normal.

Stay tuned....

Tori needs a special adopter or foster. She is a great cat but she doesn’t get along with other animals and all of our fosters have other animals. She needs someone to work on her single kitten syndrome behavior (biting playfully and nipping at heels).

We will guide you all the way! 24/7 text message support. She doesn’t draw blood but her initial foster returned her because of this behavior. It CAN be corrected with diligence and discipline!

Tori is around 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated and FeLV/FIV negative.

Rescue provides all supplies if you want to foster and if you want to adopter her, she is all yours!

Transport found!

‼️‼️ Transportation needed today ‼️‼️

This is a long shot but transportation fell through due to a personal emergency. This cat needs to go from Oakland to Pittstown this afternoon otherwise he goes back to the horrible pound where he came from (not indefinitely but still trying to avoid him going back).

If you can help, please DM us.

The days following surgery have been a little tough for Blue. He started healing over his stitches so he has to go back to the vet everyday to monitor and get things readjusted. He watches momma and his brother play from confinement, wanting to join in so badly. He cries when he p*es from the pain.

So he gets extra TV snuggle time with foster mom. Hoping this is a distant memory for him very soon!

ISO donation of a high baby gate to help introduce terminally ill cancer foster cat to resident cats since he will now be living there permanently

Doesn’t have to look exactly like this but has to be high enough a cat can’t jump over it.

Blue chowing down after surgery. So grateful he made it out. We were so very worried.

Blue is out of surgery and on his way home! Thank you for all your donations, kind thoughts and prayers. He couldn’t have survived without you.

Torti-tude towards other cats is going to be our theme for the week as we have two beautiful, young tortis who just don't like other animals.

Cleo is about 2 years old, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She was adopted through a shelter who does not want her back and has not been helpful to her adopter so we are stepping in to help. Cleo just simply wants to be the only animal and being around other animals stresses her out. She is currently living with other cats and dogs and is not happy.

Her current mom picks her up all the time and kisses and hugs her and she loves it. She is very playful and loves to bunny kick toys and run around and gets the zoomies a lot. She is very interactive and follows her mom around the house and hangs out with her while doing chores. She also sleeps on the foot of the bed. She purrs and trills and is so very happy and friendly. Her mom believes that in the right house she'll be a lap cat.

DM us for more info about Cleo or you can apply through gratefulpawsnj.com/adopt

Poor Blue. Blue was found with his mom and his siblings living in a storm drain. He is the runt of the litter but he's always been off. He gains weight, then loses weight. His stomach is always bloated and he has been dewormed multiple times. At 2 months old, he weighs 1.6 lbs and has a thin layer of peach fuzz, not fur (does he have a hairless breed in him????).

Foster mom realized his private area was very large and swollen. And he didn't p*e in a stream but in drops. Then there was some puss coming out. So off to the vet he went.

He was diagnosed with a fused/tight prepuce (phimosis) causing poor urine outflow. And, because of this, his bladder is all backed up and he has a pretty bad bladder infection (hence the enlarged abdomen). Tomorrow Blue is undergoing an emergency procedure to make the hole bigger so he can p*e comfortably and completely. At 1.6 lbs, we are TERRIFIED of him going under anesthesia but he won't survive for much longer without this procedure.

We can't rescue these tiny babies without the support of our community. We are 100% donor funded. And we do not take a paycheck, every single cent goes to the animals.

If you can donate even $5 it would help us cover these costs immensely. We don't ask for money often but this was an unexpected expense that we can't say no to. All together with pre-op testing and diagnosis we're looking at $1,300 in vet bills.

Thank you to Bark Avenue Veterinary Services in Riverdale. He was at the vet last week and that vet completely missed this. This is the second complicated case we brought to them that they were able to easily (and honestly pretty affordably) diagnose.
