A Denville family’s beloved cat Harley has gone missing from the Denville/Pocono Rd/Tourne Park area. Harley is a very friendly male tabby with gray, black, and brown markings and hasn’t been home since October 1st.

Harley is an outdoor cat who’s familiar with the area, but his family is worried and hoping the community can help bring him home safely.

Our Origin Story

Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about Canine Concierge! We specialize in one-to-one personalized, quality pet care. We offer many services to cater to your needs. Whether you have dogs, cats, reptiles or rodents, we can help!

Our business was born out of necessity. There were very few options for pet owners as recently as 15 years ago for pet care when pet owners needed to travel or work long hours. We were in the same boat, with a new puppy and both “mom and dad” working in an industry that took us away from our fur-baby for ten hours a day and business trips that didn’t allow an extra carry-on with fur sticking out! How would we ever find someone we trusted enough to care for our baby boy? Other pet owners must be resonating with these same feelings of guilt, worry and fear.

I imagined a company that could provide peace of mind for pet owners. I knew that my vision would allow others to be able to enjoy the benefits of pet ownership, while maintaining their careers, social lives and family time without holding on to the guilt. I gave up my corporate career because of this belief. I wish I could say it was the hardest thing I have ever done, but in fact it was blissfully easy, because it was meant to be. I found my path and with a lot of hard work and long hours (many, many days as a solo business owner I worked as many as 24 jobs a day) my vision became a reality.

Today, we are a fully-staffed company with employees (not independent contractors) who are as excited about working with pets as I am. We are continually educating ourselves and when we are not caring for pets, we are studying coursework on how to be better in-tune with dog behavior, pet health and related topics. We truly pride ourselves on giving the pets we care for a full “experience” and not just a “walk.” The love I have seen from my staff warms my heart and gives me hope for this world!
