The most common feline urinary issue is Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, which is caused by stress. Stress for cats can be caused by a number of things such as disruption to normal routines, noisy events, and unhealthy relationships with other pets in the house.
There are other issues they can have, such as urinary blockages, UTIs, or urinary stones, which can be very painful and uncomfortable.
If your cat is experiencing any of these signs, please call and make an appointment with your Vet.🐱🐱

Dogs and cats have a normal amount of yeast that live in their ears. However when the environment changes, it can cause an overgrowth which turns into an infection. (See picture below taken from a microscopic view- the yeast "peanut" shapes are everywhere!)
Yeast infections can be mild but left untreated, can cause a lot of issues.
Keeping your pets ears clean and dry will help prevent such infections.

Food trials are done to rule out allergies caused by diet. 🍽🍽
Hydrolyzed prescription diets are recommended for these trials because OTC diets still have the potential for cross-contamination.
A food trial should be done a minimum of 6-8 weeks with nothing entering your pets mouth besides what is prescribed to them, including treats.🐶🐱
Schedule an appointment with your Vet to discuss more about a diet trial for your pet and their allergies. 🐾🐾
