In observance of Memorial Day, Vet Next Door will be closed on Monday, May 26th.

We pause to honor and remember the brave men, women, and service animals who gave so much in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Chica’s visit was a success! 💕🐾

This sweet 13-week-old Chihuahua puppy came in for her checkup with Dr. Melisa, and we made sure her visit was filled with treats, patience, and positive experiences.

We also introduced her to a nail trim using low-stress handling techniques — taking things slowly, offering rewards, and helping her build confidence instead of fear. Early visits like this are so important for teaching puppies that the vet can be a safe, friendly place.

Great job, Chica! We can’t wait to watch you grow. 🐶✨
