Meet Maggie! 💕🐾

This tiny 11-week-old Miniature Schnauzer came in for her first visit with Dr. Harrison and Anne, weighing just 5.8 pounds.

Her favorites already include chicken treats and her bunny toy—and that little Schnauzer face made it pretty hard not to spoil her. 🥹

Welcome to the Vet Next Door family, Maggie! 💙

💙 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Anne! 🐾

Born and raised right here in Parrish, Anne has been working in veterinary medicine for more than five years and earned her associate degree in veterinary technology. Anne especially enjoys getting to know our clients and making sure they feel valued every time they visit. You've probably seen her in quite a few of our puppy and kitten first-visit photos! 📸
She also helps manage much of our hospital inventory, making sure our team has the medications and supplies needed to care for our patients.

Thank you, Anne, for taking care of so many of the little details that make a big difference around Vet Next Door!

💙🐾 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Lauren!

Lauren joined Vet Next Door earlier this year and has been working in veterinary medicine for four years! She wears a couple of different hats around here, helping clients at the front desk as a Client Care Coordinator and assisting with patient care as a veterinary assistant.

Before entering veterinary medicine, Lauren worked training "last chance" dogs, giving dogs with challenging behaviors another opportunity to succeed. Animal behavior remains one of her biggest passions! 🐶

Originally from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Lauren now spends much of her free time chasing after her two kids, reading a good book, or being silently judged by her cats. 😹📚

We're happy to have Lauren on our team and appreciate her willingness to jump in wherever she's needed!

🐱💙 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Kasey!

Before discovering her passion for veterinary medicine, Kasey was a preschool teacher! These days, she's putting that patience to good use with some of our feline patients. Kasey has a special interest in cat behavior and senior feline care, helping older kitties stay comfortable and happy as they age. She also has a soft spot for the occasional "spicy" cat. 🌶️🐈 Rather than rushing an anxious kitty, Kasey enjoys taking the time to build trust and help make vet visits a little less stressful.

Thank you, Kasey, for the patience and understanding you bring to our feline friends!

💙🐾 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Kelli!

Kelli first started working in veterinary medicine at just 18 years old! After taking some time away to raise her son, she returned to the profession six years ago.

Kelli has a special interest in **pet nutrition** and recently completed her coaching certification in small animal nutrition! 🥕🐶

She enjoys helping families make sense of their pets' dietary needs, whether that's managing a health condition, choosing the right food, or finding an option that works for their pet and their budget.

When she's not at Vet Next Door, Kelli stays busy cheering on her kids at sporting events, reading, and spending time with her Shetland Sheepdog, Belle. 📚

Thank you, Kelli, for sharing your knowledge and helping our clients make informed decisions about their pets' health!

💙 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Alina! 🐾

Alina has been with Vet Next Door since we first opened our doors four years ago as a Client Care Coordinator! Her love for animals started back in high school when she volunteered at a local animal shelter. Since then, she's built a career in veterinary medicine, gaining experience as a veterinary assistant, customer service representative, and practice manager over the years. That background gives Alina a valuable perspective when helping our clients, supporting our team, and keeping things moving at the front desk.

Thank you, Alina, for being part of our journey from day one and for everything you've contributed over the past four years!

🌟 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Trista!

Trista has been part of the Vet Next Door team as a Client Care Coordinator since November 2023, but her veterinary experience goes back much further! She earned her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential in 2001 and spent seven years working as a technician before eventually finding her way to client care. These days, Trista brings her clinical background and veterinary knowledge to the front desk.

When she's not working, you'll probably find her near the water or cheering on her family at shooting sports competitions and dirt bike races across Florida! 🎣🏍️

Thank you, Trista, for sharing your experience with our clients and being part of the Vet Next Door crew!

🐾 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Karla! 💙

Karla began her veterinary career right here at Vet Next Door and has since become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)! She has a strong interest in emergency medicine and loves working alongside a team to help pets when they need it most.

One of Karla's favorite parts of her job is answering pet owners' questions and helping them understand how to prevent illness before it starts. She's also bilingual in English and Spanish, which has been a tremendous help to many of our clients. 💬

Outside the hospital, Karla enjoys traveling, discovering good food, and running. 🏃‍♀️✈️
We're proud to have been part of Karla's journey in veterinary medicine and grateful for everything she brings to our team!

🐾💙 Veterinary Team Week Spotlight: Morgan!

Morgan moved to Parrish from North Carolina in 2024, and life as a military spouse has taken her to quite a few places along the way! Morgan joined Vet Next Door last year as one of our treasured Client Care Coordinators. With 5 years of experience in vet med, one of Morgan's favorite parts of her job is building relationships with clients and getting to know their pets. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, paddleboarding, cooking, and crafting.

We're so glad Morgan is part of our Vet Next Door family. Thank you for the care and kindness you show our clients every day!
