We received this hand-made plaque and card today from one of our customers, and it stopped us in our tracks.

This year has brought its fair share of challenges—rain delays, scheduling hurdles, and the unique complexities that come with custom work. Most of what we do doesn’t start with blueprints… it starts with vision, conversation, and trust. And sometimes that means the process takes longer than any of us would like.

But thoughtful gestures like this remind us why we do what we do.

This one feels special.

We built this modern retreat using Eastern Hemlock harvested right here in Southern West Virginia**, milled locally and installed with care to preserve the natural grain and warmth of the wood. The exterior features a black modern profile and oversized glass to pull the landscape directly into the space — because the view is part of the experience.

Inside, the heart of the sauna is the HUUM heater, handcrafted in Estonia. HUUM’s heritage goes back generations — traditional Nordic sauna culture paired with modern design. The cage-style stone tower gives you true löyly (steam) and rich, even heat that you can actually feel in your bones.

Between the stone feature wall, the clean bench lines, the backlit glow, and the scent of real hemlock warming up — this space is built to slow things down.

No TV.
No rush.
Just heat, breath, and quiet.
