These beautiful Blue Poison Dart frogs are not poisonous in captivity and thrive in humid, planted vivaria that mimic their rainforest homes. 🐸
New frogs are quarantined and screened for parasites. As you can see in this video, microscopic evaluation revealed a parasitic worm burden, so these frogs will be dewormed before moving into their lush enclosure—ensuring a healthy start for your amphibian friend! 🌿💚

Gums should ideally be bubblegum pink (unless your pet has normally black gums)! If your pet seems a bit under the weather, gently lift their lip and look at their gum color. If you notice pale, white, or blue-tinged gums, it could mean your pet is experiencing shock, anemia, or poor oxygenation. Don’t wait, bring your pet in right away. https://bit.ly/43xvu4Q

Meet Skunk, this sweet guinea pig came to us after being referred for concerns of a uterine mass. A CT scan confirmed the diagnosis (along with an enlarged o***y), but thankfully showed no signs of spread. Under the care of Dr. Caron and the exotics team, Skunk went on to have surgery to remove her reproductive tract and did wonderfully—she’s recovering like a champ!
