Summer is more fun when our furry friends stay safe! Keep these tips in mind during the hot weather:

💧 Keep fresh, cool water available at all times.
🌳 Provide plenty of shade or bring pets indoors during extreme heat.
❄️ Use fans, A/C, cooling mats, or damp towels to help them stay cool.
🌅 Exercise early in the morning or later in the evening.
🧴 Use pet-safe sunscreen on light-colored or short-haired pets when needed.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car—temperatures can become deadly within minutes.
⚠️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, weakness, drooling, or lethargy.

A few simple precautions can help your pets enjoy a safe, happy summer. If you think your pet is experiencing heatstroke, contact your veterinarian immediately.
