Workin’ 9 to 5… to get ADOPTED! Meet Cordelia & Tabitha, two adorable 3-month-old girls who have officially made finding a home their full-time job.

These sweet kittens absolutely adore each other, and while they can be adopted separately, we’d love nothing more than to see these besties clock out of shelter life together.

In honor of the one and only Dolly Parton, we’ve got these girls working 9 to 5: making biscuits, chasing toys, looking ridiculously cute, and waiting for someone to finally give them the promotion they deserve: a loving family.

Technically, this ridiculously cute creature is a dog… but we’re not here to argue semantics. Fluffy? ✅ Bear-shaped? ✅ Would absolutely choose? YES. ✅

Doors are opening soon for Clear the Shelters weekend and Missy is ready! But this big girl does a lot more than drool. She’s an expert cuddler and napper, too! If you’re looking for a 99-pound lap dog with more to love, you’ve found your girl.

In honor of Clear the Shelters, Missy and all our adult dogs and cats have waived adoption fees this weekend! Now is the time to meet the new love of your life.

Happy tails! 🐾 Mochi is settling in well at her new home. Her adopter shared this update:

"She hid under the bed for a few hours, but by evening she had wandered out to explore the rest of the house. She's become my shadow, following me from room to room when I'm home. She is a beautiful, sweet, feisty, and curious little girl, and she has definitely stolen all of our hearts." – Vera.

Meet Cody, a 2-year-old, 53-pound sweetheart who is ready to go home. Cody came to us from a partner shelter, and he has been busy making friends ever since. He greets new people with an easy, happy energy and gets along well with other dogs, making him a great fit for a household with a canine sibling or two.

Cody is still settling in, and our staff and volunteers are getting to know a little more about him every day. What we have seen so far is a friendly, curious guy whose personality gets brighter the more comfortable he feels. Watching him come out of his shell has been one of the best parts of our week, and there is clearly a lot more to discover.

If you are looking for a good-natured companion who is excited to meet you, come say hello to Cody at our Palo Alto shelter and see if he’s the perfect match you’ve been waiting for.

Happy tails! 🎉 Halftime, now Zeus, is settling right in with his new family. His adopter shared this update:

"On July 21, he symbolically turned one year old, and it's now been six months since he came home with me. I can't even begin to explain how happy I feel or how full my heart is because of him.

He has been my motivation. On the days when I didn't even want to get out of bed, he was my little ray of sunshine, and he continues to be day after day. He filled our home with happiness, laughter, and love. He's full of energy, and it's impossible not to be infected by it.

Thank you for everything you do and for taking care of him while we were finding our way to each other." – Camila.
