HEAT SAFETY REMINDER FROM NEVER FORGOTTEN ANIMAL SOCIETY
To our amazing adopters and the entire community:
Extreme heat is here, and it’s dangerous for our pets day and night. We’re asking all of our Never Forgotten families — and everyone with dogs and other animals — to please keep them indoors where it’s cool and safe.
Hot pavement, dehydration, and heatstroke can happen fast, even in the shade or at night. Our dogs count on us to protect them.
How to Keep Your Pets Safe:
✅ Keep all dogs and animals inside with AC or fans
✅ Always have fresh, cool water available
✅ Walk dogs only in early morning or late evening when surfaces are cooler
✅ Never leave pets in vehicles
✅ Watch for signs of heat distress: heavy panting, drooling, weakness
If you see an animal in distress, please contact animal control, Never Forgotten Animal Society, or your vet right away.
Thank you for giving our dogs safe, loving homes. Let’s keep them healthy this summer. Please share to help us reach more pet parents.
