This has been a heavy week for the City of Ozark and Dale County. We are mourning the loss of two respected and loved members of our community — retired Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Public Works employee Mike Little.

We began the week grieving Mike’s passing, and today, we add the loss of Sheriff Olson. Both men served with dedication and left behind a legacy of quiet strength and service.

Their absence will be deeply felt, and we extend our heartfelt prayers to their families, friends, and all who knew and loved them.

May we honor their memory by carrying forward the same love for this community and dedication to service that defined their lives.
