🐾 Why Bigger Dogs Are the Best 🐾

Bigger dogs may take up more space on the couch… but they also take up a whole lot of space in your heart. ❤️

They’re the gentle giants who lean into you for comfort, become your shadow around the house, and somehow believe they still fit in your lap. They make great walking partners, loyal companions, and expert cuddle buddies.

While many adopters automatically look for smaller dogs, some of the most loving, goofy, and devoted dogs waiting in shelters are the bigger ones. They often get overlooked simply because of their size—but those who give them a chance quickly discover what they’re missing.

I'm Coco and I want to share a bit of my life in foster. I'm getting up there in age and let me tell you, life at the kennel is no picnic, especially for an old dog like me- all that barking and craziness.... And those hard floors, just terrible.

Luckily for me, I attended an adoption event at Petco, my foster mom met me and I found myself in foster only to be kept forever. What a life I have now! Peace and quiet, a nice soft bed for my old bones AND lots of walks and outings and attention. LOVE IT!

We want to send a huge thank you to Denise for dropping by yesterday and donating another doggie pool for our pups! 🐾💦
We use these pools to help the dogs cool off after their walks, and they also double as an amazing ball pit for their daily enrichment activities. Thank you so much for your generosity, Denise—the pups are loving it! ❤️🐕
