And once you get to know this sweet girl, you'll understand why everyone falls in love with her!

First of all… 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗟𝗘𝗦! 😍 Seriously, how adorable can one dog be?!

Sylvie (listed as Ducky on our website) is approximately 1 year old, weighs 50 pounds and is still growing.

She's a sensitive sweetheart who takes a little time to feel comfortable. But once you've earned her trust?

💕 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗞𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦! 💕

Sylvie believes everyone deserves a freshly washed neck, and she's more than happy to volunteer for the job! 😂❤️

She's also a professional cuddler who loves keeping a paw on her person or stretching right across your lap.

And there's plenty more to love!

Sylvie is looking for a patient, understanding family who will help her build confidence. New people and unexpected situations can make her nervous, so she needs gentle guidance, consistency and reassurance.

We received the sweetest update from River's family, and it sounds like this girl has found exactly where she belongs! 🥹❤️

River has been the PERFECT addition to her family, bringing them joy every single day!

She's enjoying all the wonderful things that come with having a forever home:

🐾 Going on walks
🐾 Playing with her doggy friends at the dog park
🐾 Traveling to Cleveland and Pittsburgh
🐾 Making new friends along the way!

Her family describes her as funny, playful, loving, and sweet. And their words say it all:

We received a sweet update from Munch, now One-eyed-Willie's family, and it sounds like this boy has made quite an impression!

Willie has been in his forever home for over a year now, and his family couldn't be happier.

But it's what his adopter shared that really melted our hearts:

There’s something incredibly special about adopting a senior dog. They may have a little gray around their muzzle, but they still have SO much love to give! ❤️

🐶 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴?

❤️ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗻𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀! Many senior dogs would rather curl up beside you than get into puppy mischief.

🐾 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! They’ve often outgrown the wild puppy stage and are happy to enjoy life’s simpler pleasures.

🏡 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗜𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗲𝘁! Their size and personality are already developed, making it easier to find your perfect match.

🦴 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀! Many senior dogs already have some training and house manners, although they may need a little refresher in a new home.

💕 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁! With patience, love, and a little time to settle in, senior dogs can become wonderful additions to a new family.

What's better than one K9 rescue dog finding their happily-ever-after? TWO finding it together! 🥹❤️

We received the sweetest update about Kevin and Dandie, and it sounds like these two are absolutely thriving!

🐾 Dandie has been with her family for TWO years!
🐾 Kevin joined the family eight months ago!

And somewhere along the way, these two became a 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗥! 🐶❤️🐶

Their family says Kevin and Dandie bring SO much joy to their lives and join them on all their adventures. They're doing wonderfully, and we couldn't be happier for them!

But it was the last part of their message that really touched our hearts:

🥔 𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗢 𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 🥔 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡!

Most of you know him as Hamish. We know him as Potato. 🥔❤️

He’s a 3-year-old English Bulldog, low to the ground, a little chubby, and thinks he is absolutely a lap dog. He is not. He will try anyway. And you will let him. 😂

𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝟵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝟬+ 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. Too long for a dog this good. 💔

The good news? He recently got to go to a foster home, and he was GREAT! House manners, loved being someone’s one and only, and claimed the couch immediately. He proved what we already knew — he just needs a home where he feels secure.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Hamish wants to be your only dog. He’s a little insecure, and when there’s another dog around, he worries. But when it’s just him and his people? He relaxes, wiggles, snorts, puts his big potato head in your lap, and sighs. ❤️

The fastest way to his heart is through his belly! He will sit, he will stay, and he will be your best sous chef for a piece of cheese. 🧀 He snores, he waddles, and he loves with his whole chubby body.

🥔 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
🐾 A calm home where he gets to be the only potato in the pot.
🐾 A bulldog person who understands that sensitive + stubborn = perfect.
🐾 Someone who thinks a 60 lb lap dog is exactly right.
🐾 Treats. Lots of treats. For training. And for love.
