Once again, Oxfurrd Pet Spa worked absolute magic! 🤩

Talia arrived looking less like a poodle and more like a walking dust mop. After years of life as a breeding dog and one seriously overdue spa day, this sweet girl got the full glow-up she deserved. Just look at that transformation! 😍

Lately, I’ve had several dogs surrendered from Amish breeding farms, and keeping up with the mountains of matted fur has been overwhelming. When I reached out to Jamie for help, she squeezed in not one, but TWO rescue pups the very next day. (Stay tuned for the second makeover because it’s another good one! 👀)

💕 Meet Talia 💕

Talia is a 5-year-old purebred Poodle whose puppy-producing days are officially behind her. She is fully vetted, spayed, freshly pampered, and ready to start the next chapter of her life as a cherished family pet.

Talia is a gentle, timid, and incredibly sweet girl. She’s still learning that people can be kind and that life isn’t all about making puppies, so she’s adjusting at her own pace. She is wonderful with other dogs, good with children, and has a very submissive, easygoing personality.

✨Meet Pricilla ✨

Sweet Pricilla is still searching for the forever family she deserves. 🖤

This tiny girl was surviving as a neighborhood stray, cared for by a kind person who tried their best to keep her safe. But after neighbors made threats to harm her, and Pricilla was found with ligature marks around her neck and an injury consistent with a possible BB gun wound, her caretaker knew she desperately needed help.

Despite everything she’s been through, Pricilla has remained nothing but gentle, loving, and trusting. She absolutely adores attention, loves curling up in cozy cuddle spots, and has a playful side that comes out the second a toy appears. She’s the perfect mix of affectionate lap cat and playful companion.

Some dogs come in happy, goofy, and ready for their next chapter. Others come in terrified, shut down, and carrying baggage heavier than my caffeine addiction.

Little Weasal has been here for months after coming from a hoarding situation completely unsocialized and basically feral. He has spent most of that time living in my dining room like a tiny traumatized cryptid. He trusts the dogs. Me? Questionable. 😂

But today? Today he followed me around for a bit (when I wasn’t looking) instead of vanishing into the shadows.. and after going back into hiding, he even poked his head out to take treats! For the first time, I think we’ve reached an agreement that I’m probably not trying to eat him.

And honestly, that’s rescue. It’s exhausting, emotional, messy, and painfully slow sometimes. But those tiny little breakthroughs? The moments when broken animals start learning how to feel safe and loved again? That’s what makes every chaotic day worth it. ❤️

Meet Giselle 🖤

A few months ago, Giselle showed up starving on the front steps of a business complex in Oxford with no one looking for her. Now? She’s healthy, safe, and ready for the forever home she’s been waiting for.

This sweet girl LOVES attention and wants to be wherever her people are. She’s curious, affectionate, and has officially mastered the art of being your tiny shadow!

Just another day in rescue… spending my free time trying to Stockholm syndrome a couple of feral kittens into loving me 😅
These two came from a farm colony with their littermates. The other three quickly accepted that foster life comes with snacks, soft beds, and built-in staff.
…but these two?!they wake up every day ready to defend themselves from the terrifying lady bringing dinner 😂
Rescue isn’t always the cute cuddly moments people imagine.. it’s also scratches, exhaustion, and earning trust one hiss at a time.
those tiny wins..the first curious step forward, the first moment they realize they’re safe, that’s what makes every chaotic second worth it ❤️

Meet Timber! 🐾

This sweet boy randomly appeared on someone’s farm looking for help, and after no one came forward to claim him, he made himself VERY comfortable at the rescue… and now currently rules his foster home like a tiny striped landlord.

If you’re looking for a calm, independent cat who respects boundaries… keep scrolling. Timber believes every task in your home should be a group activity. Showering? He’ll supervise. Folding laundry? He’ll roll directly in the clean pile. Trying to use the bathroom alone? That sounds selfish, honestly.

Timber is obnoxiously affectionate and fully convinced your business is his business. He’s the kind of cat who will follow you room to room just to make sure you aren’t doing anything without him.

We would like to give a huge thank you to Neidigh & Ciearra Brady Neidigh for their very generous donation in loving memory of their beloved pup, Charlie, who peacefully passed away this past week. ❤️
Charlie was clearly so deeply loved and had a wonderful life surrounded by a family who adored him. While our hearts hurt for their loss, we are incredibly grateful they chose to honor his memory by helping rescue dogs in need.
Because of kindness like this, more animals will get the second chance they deserve. Thank you for turning heartbreak into hope for so many others. 🐾

Meet Wink 🖤
Wink is a spayed, vaccinated kitten who is FIV/FeLV negative and ready to find a home of her own. She may only have one eye, but that never slows her down.

This little girl is FULL of personality and affection. She is incredibly clingy and wants to be wherever her people are. If she thinks you’re not giving her enough attention, she’ll happily climb right up your legs or onto your back to remind you she exists. 😂
Wink loves other cats and does great with dogs too. She’s playful, social, snuggly, and impossible not to fall in love with. Her sleek all-black coat makes her even more stunning.

Meet our newest little recruit, Morgan 🤍

When she was brought in, her fur was so severely matted it had to be shaved down under sedation. Those mats were pulling so tightly they actually bruised her skin… and she’s still a bit sore as she heals.

Now that the pain is gone, you can see who she really is😊a quiet, timid girl with the softest eyes and a heart that wants to trust. She leans into gentle touches, like she’s learning that love doesn’t have to hurt.

She’ll be staying with us while we finish her vetting and give her time to adjust, heal, and feel safe again.
