❤️🐾 TWO MORE SCALLYWAGS HAVE FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOME! 🐾❤️

And the best part? They’re going home TOGETHER! ❤️

Not only did they find a wonderful family to love and spoil them, but they’ll also be joining a home with other feline siblings!

There’s nothing we love more than seeing our rescues find families who will love them as much as we do. We’re so happy these two get to start their next chapter together, and we can’t wait to hear all about their adventures in their new home!

🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT TO OUR FOSTERS, ADOPTERS, DONORS & ANYONE TRYING TO REACH OUR RESCUE DIRECTORS Personal Phone! 🚨

If you’ve been trying to reach Veronica and have been met with radio silence, we promise she hasn’t abandoned the rescue and fled the country.
Unfortunately, her phone recently suffered a tragic and ENTIRELY preventable death after taking an all-expenses-paid, hour-long spin through the washing machine.🤦🏻‍♀️

May it rest in pieces. 🪦

And because running an animal rescue apparently wasn’t chaotic enough, the phone hadn’t been fully backed up. So along with the phone, we lost contacts, text histories and possibly the last remaining fragments of Veronica’s sanity. 🤦🏻‍♀️

A replacement phone has since been purchased, but apparently receiving messages is more of a suggestion than an actual job requirement.

We’re working on recovering what we can, but if you’ve texted Veronica directly in the last two weeks and haven’t received a response, there’s a good chance your message has disappeared into the technological abyss.

If you’ve recently dropped off donations at our main foster home, THANK YOU!! Veronica has spotted several familiar faces on the security cameras dropping off supplies, but unfortunately, some of your contact information went down with the Titanic…or, in this case, the washing machine. 😭

Please know your generosity hasn’t gone unnoticed! We appreciate every single one of you, even if we currently have absolutely no way of personally telling you that. 😩❤️🐾

Remember Eve? 🥹

Many of you may recognize this sweet girl from our friends at -avondale, where she spent quite a few months waiting for someone to give her a second chance.

Eve came into rescue after her previous owner requested that a veterinary clinic euthanize her simply because she no longer wanted her and couldn’t find her another home.

Thankfully, that wasn’t the end of Eve’s story. ❤️

Today, this sweet girl is living her best life with a family who absolutely adores her. A family who sees her as a beloved member of the household, never an inconvenience.

And THIS is why we do what we do.
One of our absolute favorite parts of rescue is hearing from our adopters. The pictures, the little updates, the stories about how our former Scallywags are settling into their new lives… we genuinely love every single one.

We put so much time, energy, and heart into these animals, and getting to see them happy, safe, and loved makes all the difficult days worth it.They may no longer be in our foster homes, but they’ll always be part of the Scallywags family. ❤️

To everyone who has adopted from us, please don’t ever hesitate to send us pictures or updates. We promise, you’re never bothering us!

🐾🍻 Scallywags Friends — Go Show Hops & Hounds Some Love! 🍻🐾

Hops & Hounds is an awesome on- and off-leash dog park and craft b**r garden built around creating a safe, fun place for both two-legged and four-legged friends to hang out, play, and socialize.

A HUGE thank you to this amazing couple, Sarah Duncan and Shank ,who stopped by our main foster home with an entire car full of donations for the rescue. ❤️ And when we say the car was full… we mean FULL!!

We didn’t even manage to get a picture of everything because the timing was pure rescue chaos 🙈 animals were coming back from the spay clinic, fosters were arriving for pickups, and everyone was going in different directions.

But honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. We were able to send several of our fosters home not only with their rescue animals, but with food and supplies to help care for them too.

Rescue really does take a village. We run on donations, fosters, volunteers, and the generosity of people in our community who choose to help. Every bag of food, case of supplies, blanket, toy, and donation takes a little bit of the weight off our shoulders and allows us to keep saying yes to animals who need us.

We are incredibly grateful for people like this who show up and support what we do. Thank you so much for thinking of our animals and our fosters. It truly means more than you know. ❤️🐾
