Owatonna Animal Shelter The Owatonna Animal Shelter is operated by the Owatonna Police Department. WE DO NOT CAPTURE OR RESCUE WILD ANIMALS.

All stray domestic animals found or caught are brought in and held for a minimum of five (5) days before they are available to be released. For information on animal release conditions or fees, please submit a private message to us here on our page or call (507) 451-8232. If you have or come across an injured wild animal, please contact the Minnesota DNR at (888) 646-6367.
