Summer is coming and some of you may be planning on boarding your pups. It's important to check with your boarding facility in advance to find out what they require. Some require these to be done at least 10 days prior to boarding. Also keep in mind that a lot of veterinary clinics are scheduling out a week or more so it's recommended to contact us early.
Most boarding facilities require the three core vaccinations which are rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus). Some boarding facilities may also require canine influenza and leptospirosis vaccinations. Keep in mind that if your dog hasn't ever had influenza they will need a booster in 2-4 weeks after the initial one so again we recommend planning ahead.
