🎉🎊Staff Spotlight🎊🎉 We wanted to give a very well deserved and special shout out to one of our Nursing Staff team, Cayley! She has gone above and beyond in the recent months. With 2/3 of the nursing staff being out on medical leave in recent weeks, she has held it down at the clinic! She ensured your pets still get top notch care and attention! It is not easy running an entire department with the help of the 2 amazing assistants but she did it with a smile and positive attitude! All the while being a full time student at Penn Foster! We truly could not have made it through without her!

Feel good Friday! Reunited after FIVE YEARS MISSING!! This is Georgie! He showed up to one of our clients' houses about 3 years ago as a feral cat. She was able to get him into a carrier and bring him into the clinic and we scanned him and he had a microchip. So we contacted the original owners and come to find out he got out of his kennel about 5 years ago when they were moving and they were never able to find him. They were so so happy that we were able to find them and he has been reunited with his family and doing well!!! Love a happy ending!!!

March 13th marks the anniversary of when the U.S. Army started training dogs for its K9 Corps program in 1942 during WWII. Ever since then, these smart and capable dogs have protected humans as security detail, on search and rescue missions and much more. On , we thank these loyal dogs for their service!

Renal disease is a condition that occurs commonly in dogs and cats. It refers to the process where the kidneys or urinary system components have become compromised or have difficulty functioning at their full capacity. However, most commonly it’s the kidneys that become affected. Renal failure can progress quickly and be life-threatening, if left undiagnosed or untreated.

This is where the importance of lab work comes in: by monitoring renal levels on blood and urine testing, veterinary professionals can identify kidney changes faster, which can lead to early intervention.

Renal disease is irreversible, but treatment options exist that can help pets with this condition live longer, healthier lives. If your senior pet is past due for a screening, book a visit today.
