Our hearts are heavy today at the Ottawa office. Today we said goodbye to our very much so beloved clinic kitty, Sushi. She was famous for always sitting at the reception desk curled up in her “inbox”. She came to us in 2014 to be spayed to go to Pet Project, much to our surprise she gave birth to 3 kittens in the morning hours leading up to her spay…well the rest is history. We fell in love with her over the weeks that she nursed her kittens and decided to keep her. Her daughter Stella, our other beloved black clinic kitty, stayed as well. For the last 12 years, almost to the day on June 30th, we have enjoyed her silliness and constant companionship. She was the best supervisor any employee could ask for and we paid her in spray cheese and constant pets. She was the best clinic kitty we ever could’ve hoped for. She will be horribly missed. Godspeed sweet Sushi, that inbox will never be full again. 💔
