Board and train Neela had her go-home session this past Tuesday. Going to her home was very important to reinforce going to place when guests come into her house and remaining calm until released. Sometimes a dog might be successful with their trainer but when they get home they push boundaries with their owners. We made sure to help Neela and her owner understand how to make this successful! We will be following up with them both soon 😃

Board and Train Autumn has been working hard this past week and a half. Sometimes she can be reactive towards other dogs so her trainer has been exposing her to every situation possible to work through it. With a good leave it command and engagement/trust with her handler she has learned reacting negatively isn’t necessary. She understands the situation is handled by her trainer and looks to them for guidance in her decision making process in difficult situations 🐾

Maui & Lana started there 2nd week in our Day Training Program. One of our goals has been to have more focus and control while on leash. In order to be successful with this together, we have to first start by working them separately. Both dogs did great following thru with there obedience and staying engaged with their trainer in a public place. Having better control on leash means that we're going to be able to move onto our next goal; reliable obedience off leash!
