For several months, a collaborative project, led by PAOC Director Heather, Director of Friends Forever Rescue Casey and Director of Humane CNY Maureen, has been providing dog and cat food to human food pantries in Oswego County. This initiative addresses the acknowledged struggle of many county residents to feed their pets. We have established connections with several pantries and plan to continue growing this project, with the goal of alleviating the burden on those struggling to provide for their pets. We are enthusiastic about the potential of this endeavor to benefit our community.

Remember the Williamstown kittens who's mother was hit by a car and killed when they were only a couple of weeks old? They were so very fragile at that time but thanks to their amazing medical foster who bottle fed them round the clock they are growing into beautiful and healthy little ones. Here are some new photos! We cannot wait until they are ready for they forever homes which should be soon.

On Tuesday we had a special visit from students of Hannibal High School who make dog treats for shelter dogs. We sure enjoyed spending time with this group of kind souls.

Puppy yoga season two was held Sunday. Even Jenna and Duke enjoyed a little "exercise" :). We do believe that the humans and dogs all had a blast!

Duke is doing so well at his therapy sessions. Duke now has a 2 oz ankle weight for his surgical leg. Building those muscles back! We are so proud of him!
