Our Story...

Welcome to Erie Shores Maine C***s! My name is Chris Keil and my husband is Ted. We are a newly established cattery who will be breeding European Maine C**n Cats in the near future, with mentoring from very established and long term Maine C**n breeders. All of my life I have been crazy about cats! From the time I was very young, I was feeding strays, helping with rescues, fostering cats including mothers and babies. My very first purebred kitten was a little European Burmese named Chloe 18 years ago. A year later we added a siamese named Simon. Chloe and Simon were inseperable until Chloe’s passing in early 2019. Simon is 18 and still hanging in there and has now attached himself to Muffin (2), our 1/2 siamese from a litter that was born at my house after rescuing his pregnant mother. We also have Zippy, he is our 2 year old siamese. We have two Labradors named Lambeau (10) and Tanner (3) who love all of their kitties.

Our Maine C**n family includes Rickoon’s Icelyn Rose “Icy”, she is our first Maine C**n who made us fall head over heels with this breed. She is fixed and the Queen of the house :) Our beautiful breeding boys and girls are Mile High’s Fauci (our stud), RO Brooklyn Fiona D’Oracol and Mile High’s Madelyn “Madi”. Hope you enjoy the pictures and videos that we share.

Our kittens will be raised with kids, dogs, cats and noise from my husbands band so they will be very socialized :) Our babies are part of our family and will be raised as such, so they will be all ready for their forever homes :)
