We lost one of our beloved retired horses yesterday. Carina, the sweetest, loving and occasionally spicy mare, went to heaven with grace and dignity. Roberta , thank you for trusting me to walk you through an incredibly difficult decision. She will be very missed 💔

So end of March, I had a horse related incident. I mean, what other kind is there. Because I’m from the era of “suck it up buttercup “, I unsuccessfully tried to ride through it. After a big pop in my knee, swelling, etc- I had a complete ACL tear😳 Had surgery yesterday and hope to heal ASAP. I am very grateful for the team at the barn .breee and Rafa for everything! Incredibly thankful for my home health caregiver for carrying me around 😀 I will finally have some time to post updates.🦄

It’s been a long few horse show weeks. Some ups and downs, horse shows are full of them. But today, Maddy put in stunning medal round -so proud-the kids rearranged all the ribbons, used their extra time to see the world around them AND brought me flowers. 💐 These are just a few ( among the millions) of reasons I love my job.
