🐾🇺🇸 A Federal Strike Force to Protect Animals — Including Our Beloved Bulldogs

A new nationwide federal strike force has been announced to take on the worst cases of animal cruelty — and that’s meaningful news for every Bulldog who’s ever needed a second chance.

This initiative focuses on the kinds of crimes that directly impact breeds like ours:

- Dogfighting rings where Bulldogs are often exploited

- Abusive puppy mills that overbreed and neglect English Bulldogs

- Illegal or harmful testing that puts vulnerable animals at risk

- Chronic violators of federal animal‑welfare laws

With dedicated U.S. attorneys in every state, these cases will now be treated as high‑priority instead of slipping through the cracks.

For rescues like Southern California Bulldog Rescue, stronger enforcement means fewer Bulldogs suffering in silence — and more opportunities for them to find safety, care, and a forever home.

Every step toward accountability is a step toward a kinder world for our wrinkled, wiggly friends.

If you live with a English or Frenchie Bulldog, remember:

✨ Yes. You have to wipe the butt. ✨

Bulldogs come with:
- No tail
- Extra wrinkles
- Zero aerodynamic p**p clearance

Which means things… linger.
Like, cling-on-for-dear-life linger.

Skip the wipe and you risk:

🚩 Mystery odors
🚩 High‑speed scooting

First Bulldog Meeting and Adoption Day will be January 31, 2026 at Hart Park in Orange, Ca. This will be from 10am to Noon at the park, for approved adopters and new prospective adopters to meet Bulldogs for adoption.

If your application is already complete, you can apply if there is a good match for your home and receive more information. If you're just beginning to process, this is an excellent time to come learn about rescue Bulldogs and how the process works.

Lyric! How can she still be looking for a home during the holidays? It's because she needs a home where she can be the only pet, the center of attention, and with a family that is going to be able to keep up with her bathing routine.

Lyric us a 'lap dog' and not very big, which helps a lot. She likes to go on walks, explore the yard and hang out with her people.

Wall-E is a classic Bulldog in every way possible, he's got a heart of gold, easy to get along with, likes walks, has his playful side, and also likes to take naps. Wall-E has been around other dogs and done well, so should meet others to see if a good match as a second pet or he is just as happy as an only pet.

Wall-E hasn't been around cats and is unfamiliar with cats. Wall-E hasn't met any young children and should be supervised with children 10 and older.

Cookie likes to go walks, very easy to care for and supper affectionate. She does prefer to be the only pet in the home. Cookie hasn't been around cats and is unknown with cats.
