We’ve got a fresh lineup of community cats from our latest colony… and they need names!

Here’s the deal:

💉 You sponsor a surgery ($80)

❤️ You help support humane care for community cats

Each cat in this group is receiving care through our donor-funded TNR program, and your sponsorship helps fund the surgeries, vaccines, and supplies that make this work possible.

We received a notice from Consumers Energy that they are doing a planned power outage tomorrow morning (Thursday, May 28) for system upgrades. Because we are a surgical center and need power to operate, we will need to be closed tomorrow.

If you have a surgery appointment scheduled for tomorrow, our team will be reaching out soon to get you rescheduled. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

We did it. 💛

We have an incredible update to share.

Thanks to a couple of very generous donations this week, our clinic equipment and repair fundraiser is now fully funded.

That means our autoclave replacement and furnace repair are both covered.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve shared about these unexpected expenses and the behind-the-scenes realities of keeping a high-volume clinic running safely. We know we’ve asked a lot of our community lately, and we do not take your support lightly.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, mailed checks, or helped spread the word — thank you.

Because of your support, we have a rebuilt autoclave in place, a functioning furnace, and one less major financial burden hanging over our heads.

We are incredibly grateful to this community and to everyone who helped get us across the finish line.
