✨ Fool’s Gold –3 yo silver dapple mare at 15hh
This filly is pure eye candy and brains in one package. Classic Smokey Valley silver dapple. She’s by our top breeding stallion, so the genetics are as good as it gets. Fool’s Gold has that bold, inquisitive personality. Started in our natural horsemanship program she has miles and miles of Kentucky trails and soon to be Arizona trails this year. She’s naturally gaited (smooth 4-beat) and is traffic safe already at three. She’s a perfect prospect for the serious trail rider who wants something flashy enough to turn heads but quiet enough to trust and bold enough to take you places most trail horses can’t.
✨ R U 4 Real – 3 yo gelding at 14.2hh, a deep liver chestnut with a metallic glow in the sun. This guy literally looks like polished Arizona copper when he’s clean. With a short back and perfect headset where he wears the bridle straight up and down, he is built exactly how we love them “R U 4 Real” is the horse people ride one time and immediately start figuring out how to take home. He has the ideal over-stride that creates a smooth ride you can sit all day. Stands tied patiently and practically loads himself onto a trailer. He is a rare find and we can’t wait for the lucky rider who can get their hands on him first!
✨ Crystal – 4 yo maximum sabino mare at 14.3hh. If you’ve ever wanted a horse that looks like it stepped out of a storybook, this is her. A stunning flashy mare with a mane down to her knees! Big soft eyes, pretty head, and a neck that arches like a real show horse. Crystal is the ultimate “chrome package” of Smokey Valley. She’s thick made with a round hip and plenty of bone, she carries most size riders due to her stocky and strong build. She Rides like a dream forward but not hot, light in the bridle, natural head shake in her slower gait. She has that in your pocket personality, follows you around the pasture, loves attention, will stand for hours to be groomed. She’s been trail ridden all over Kentucky, ponied other horses, traffic safe, and crosses water and bridges like she was born doing it all while being athletic enough for a competitive trail rider!
✨ Jezabella – a 5 yo dapple gray 15.3hh mare who is pure class. Jezabella has the perfect shoulder, gorgeous neck, and the floating movement people stop to watch. She’s the queen bee of the group, quiet, dignified, but with a motor when you ask. Her gait is exactly what we strive for at Smokey Valley Farms, and she’ll drop down low with a nice head shake and rack on as well depending on what you want. She has hundreds of trail miles all over Kentucky and Arizona under her belt. She’s consistent and a reliable mount that you can enjoy for hours on trail that will leave you smiling from ear to ear. Not only is she a proven athlete on the most rigorous trails, she is a knock out in the local weekend shows. Jezabella has rarely left a show without a blue ribbon attached to her bridle. Zero buck, rear, or bolt, ever. Stands like a statue for mounting, ferrier, clipping. If you want that elegant gray mare that makes everyone else jealous on the next trail ride, this is her!
✨ Sundancer – a 5 yo 15.2hh Sabino gelding with a long striking white mane. He is Mr. Hollywood and anywhere he travels people want to know more about him. Sundancer is the seasoned veteran of the bunch at 5 years old He has been all over the country including Kentucky, Georgia, Michigan, Montana and Arizona. He’s traffic safe and is no stranger to all the obstacles avid trail riders face. If you’re looking for the been there done that trail horse that still has decades left in him, Sundancer is the one!
