🚨‼️An urgent need was posted on another platform—an injured cat has finally been trapped and will be brought to Value Pet Vet in Norwalk tomorrow at 9:30 AM. The cat, named Winnie, has an injured leg. The vet’s office and a few others are helping cover the costs, but more support is needed.
If you’re willing to help, please contact Value Pet Vet tomorrow morning and donate towards Winnie’s care, or contribute to the Nancy Fund, with all donations going directly to Winnie’s treatment.
Thank you so much for your support!

----------------------------------------Heya guys as some of you know here because you guys graciously donated some large totes so I could make shelters for the winter that there are some community (homeless) cats that I watch out for and feed.

Well labor day weekend I came home and one of my daily kitties was limping pretty badly. Since then there has been varying stages where I thought he was healing and doing better and other times, doing worse.

Today is definitely significantly worse and he cant put ANY weight on his front right paw. Does anyone know a vet that would donate services to help him out? Anyone here have a family member, friend, sympathetic vet willing to help?

I feel sooooo bad for him, and though hes not technically "my cat", I love him and am worried. Im on a very very limited income and cant afford to bring him to a vet myself which im sure would be 500+ for a visit, Xray, blood work, and to fix whatever is wrong, otherwise I would in a heartbeat. I would be more than happy to catch him, bring him to a willing vet, take care of him and foster him after.

I've sent messages to a few rescues a couple weeks ago and havent heard back. So if anyone here can ask any vets they know, Winnie (as in Winnie the Pooh) with his cute grumpy lil face, and I, would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help!!

(Pic of Winnie-pre-injury) as tax for your help!

Let’s get this girl better!
Shout out to Dr Aubree Zubovic who was up all night with this little…
Here’s Claire’s story-We got some bad news yesterday about momma Claire. She took great care of her babies, they are weaned, her milk dried up and so we dropped her off at her spay appointment. Unfortunately she had 105 temperature and needed immediate care. X-rays showed fluid in her uterus and intestines and the vet recommended they go ahead with the spay due to likely infection (Pyometra). She made it through the surgery OK and as of last night the kind vet Dr Zubovic at Value Pet Vet Spay/Neuter/Wellness Clinic was taking her home for ongoing fluids and monitoring. Needless to say, her bill is already more than $1,000 and will empty our bank account. Please consider a donation in any amount if you are able ❤
