Say hello to Carmen. Carmen is a mountain cur mix unclaimed stray. Carmen exhibits great behavior around other dogs. She has also demonstrated excellent interaction with the child of one of our volunteers, and has successfully passed her shelter kitty test. Carmen is sponsored and has a $50 adoption fee. Currently, the JCAC shelter is over capacity, with 21 dogs and 45 cats, including multiple kittens. We urgently require loving homes for these animals to prevent the necessity of making challenging decisions that our team strives to avoid. UPDATE : The person in question came forward and took responsibility for her actions. It has been taken care of and this boy is immediately available for adoption. Please remember to reframe from dumping animals.

Does anyone recognize this person? We wish to notify her that dumping animals is against the law and an ordinance violation, subject to a $500 fine per animal. This boy was dropped at the shelter at 3am

98 days ago this handsome guy came in to our facility a little scared and alot mean, but we knew deep down inside there was goodness, so we decided to work with him and give him a chance, and we gave him the perfect name- Richard. It has been challenging, but he's a totally different cat today. He isn't a snugglebug yet but we think he will be. He now loves back scratches and gets along with the other cats but still keeps his distance from the dogs. His adoption fee includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, 4 in 1 vaccination and will be microchipped upon adoption. He has been sponsored so he is available for only $50. So what are you waiting for- come and meet our Richard today!!!

We would like to remind everyone that dumping animals is a class A ordinance violation which is a $500 fine per animal. We have 4 puppies who were dumped at the city garage and we will be reviewing camera footage. Spay & neuter your pets‼️

🐶 These puppies are now available for immediate adoption. All 4 pups are male, 9 week old, lab mixes with adoption fees of $177 each.

The days can be tough and overwhelming in an overcrowded shelter watching numerous unwanted, neglected, and emancipated animals arrive. Although we are not a humane society, the silver lining is witnessing these animals find their new forever homes and families that they deserve.
