🔹We are a boutique full-service boarding and training program specializing in the hunters, jumpers and equitation. Our barn family includes children learning to canter, adults getting back in the saddle after a break, and competitive amateur and junior riders.

🔹 Stony Lane Founder Lisa Tomaselli is a USHJA Certified Trainer, Former College IHSA Coach, and is working toward her USEF Judge’s License. She has decades of experience teaching, riding and developing young horses. She loves working with anyone who wants to learn!

Zo Beauty and Zoe Grutkowski were 8th in the $1000 3’3” Junior Hunter Classic out of 22 with a second round score of 83.5! They also jumped consistently to earn three 7ths over fences and 🥉 in the hack at HITS VI.

Bridgerton and Alex Bussan jumped to 5th place in the Marshall & Sterling Bit O’ Straw Classic last week at HITS Hudson Valley VI!

In the 2’9” Modified Adult Hunters they also placed 6th & 8th o/f and 5th in the hack.

The Grutkowski sisters also took advantage of the home show today and picked up some ribbons and points toward finals!

Fanta and were 🥇 the Low Hunters, 🥉 in the Maclay and 7th in the Dover. Zeus and .grutkowski were 🥈 in the Low Hunters, and 5th in the Maclay.

Stony Lane had an amazing two weeks at HITS Vermont! It was a treat to be together in the mountains with the horses—and the fact that every single rider brought home a blue ribbon—was simply icing on the cake 🩵

🧁 Ellie Beffert and Saratoga Frost were Champion in the Short Stirrup Equitation and Reserve Champion in the Short Stirrup Hunters.

🍰 Alex Bussan and Bridgerton were Champion in the Low Adult Hunters Week 1, and scored an 85 in the first round of the Classic! They also finished 7th out of 22 in the Bit O Straw Classic Week 2!

🎂 Iris Helfgott and Keepsake were Champion in the Advanced Beginner WTC and stepped into the Cross Rails Division for the first time, finishing Reserve Champion!

🧁Jack Helfgott rode Simply Magic II to first place in the Leadline Division 💙

🍰 Lily Gundersen and Don Dimitri won an over fences class in the Pre Children’s Hunters out of 26+ horses, and won the Bit O Straw Classic with scores of 85 + 83 out of 22 entries! This was their first ribbon in an over fences class and their first away show together.

🎂 Izzy Grutkowski and her new equitation partner Fanta won the Maclay twice, won the NEHC Junior Medal, and were Champion in the 15-17 Equitation!

🧁 Izzy Grutkowski and Haribo won a class in the 1.10m Junior Jumpers and were Champion in the division week 2!

🍰 Zoe Grutkowski and Tibri’s Silver Lining showed together for the first time and won the Dover Medal, and were Reserve Champion in the 15-17 Equitation Division Week 1 🦄

🍥 Zoe Grutkowski and Zo Beauty were 4th in the $2,500 USHJA National Jr/Am Derby Sec B out of 27 entries with a first round score of 86, and were 3rd in the combined Classic with scores of 82 + 86!

Thank you .e for capturing all these amazing moments and to Abraham, Guicho, and Diego for keeping our horses and ponies feeling their best!
