Happy Valentines Day to us. On Tuesday Feb 11, I went to the hospital to get monitored. Cramping and Braxton hicks the day before resulting in decreased fetal movement Monday night into Tuesday morning, mind you that morning I felt great! I was ready to get stuff done. Minimal discomfort. I was feeling very active. The doctors had no explanation for what was going on. Her vitals were seemingly normal and then she would rest with a low heart rate, I was having a lot of braxton contractions and again her heart would drop rapidly, but then she would recover normally. I still wasn't feeling her normal movements only but once in a while. Doctors said she wasn't being restricted or loosing oxygen as far as an umbilical strangulation but something wasn't right. Medically they told me I could not leave, I tried! I wanted to go home. I asked if I could just come back the next day. I had pet sits to finish! I just needed to get through that night and next morning! My fiance refused to let me leave. The doctors strongly advised against it. Just 1 hour later they delivered baby girl! She is doing fantastic. While premature and tiny (4lbs 11oz) She has been meeting all her preemie requirements. Valentine's Day we got to spend our night as a family and come home!

So while a month early! I welcome the newest member of the pet care team!

Wow, time has really flown! Count down as begun! Baby girl makes her arrival Tuesday, March 4th. Her dad and I still haven't been able to decide on a name, so more than likely, she won't get one until she's here. I plan on taking the month of March off to spend time with her and recover since I'll be getting another cesarean. The plan is to be back to taking some clients in April and hopefully full swing by the rest of spring and summer. Thank you everyone for your support and patience through this!

Some of you know, some of you don't know! My family is welcoming another addition! Just 2 months, shy of my son's 10th birthday! I wanted to wait a little while to announce it officially, but baby is thriving well and meeting all her marks. I am halfway through the baking process at 23 weeks. She is expected to be here at the beginning of March. It will be a scheduled procedure, as long as she doesn't try to come earlier, as my first was an emergency, and the Dr's don't want to risk anything, and neither do I. My hope is to be back to scheduling clients by the end of April. I wanted to give everyone enough notice to plan and to please be patient with me once the baby is here. My brain will probably be exhausted. I will do everything I can to answer and accommodate your needs and requests.

Services for new clients:

Dog walking M- F (11 - 3) $25
Weekend dog walk $30
Pet Sitting $25 per visit

Obedience training $100 hr (M-F)
Weekends - $150 hr

Overnight in your home care. 8pm - 8am $100
Additional visits $25

Meet and Greets are required prior to any new service.
If you require a meet and greet during the weekend there will be a $25 surcharge for my time. Week days there is no charge.

This has come up a few times this year. How do I receive payment? Cash or venmo. I don't take checks or zelle., apple pay, blood, or iou. I have my reasons. Checks bounce, I don't use mobile checking and I don't plan on it. Fuel costs are too much to drive a town or 2 over for me to deposit. Filing my taxes, this is a business. It's another form of payment I have to keep track of. I have had clients send zelle after being sent my venmo. Given checks after telling them I do not accept checks. Payment is to be left at time if service or venmoed after service. Fuel costs are too much for me to be driving to and from clients to get paid for a service I provided you. Please going forward be more considerate to my requirements and if you have a question don't hesitate to ask. I understand people forget especially when my services are only used here and there.

I haven't posted in a while because quite frankly I've been busy! Between old clients and new clients. The new baby horse and my other farm animals and the farm work to be done has had me sun up to sun down! I'm looking forward to a busy summer!
