This cute little puppy is Rex! He is a very sweet guy and we are excited to watch him grow!

Now that we have your attention with the cute puppy, here’s a reminder that for the time being, our office will be closing at 4pm on Fridays.

Next Friday, August 29th, we will be closing at 2pm. Please plan your medication refills and food purchases accordingly, as it is Labor Day weekend. We will be back open Tuesday September 2nd at 9am.

When purchasing heartworm prevention, it’s best to buy it from someone reputable, like your veterinarian. It’s not worth the risk of being sold a product that may be expired or repackaged.

Oftentimes, people will purchase what they think is heartworm prevention but it is just a dewormer (for intestinal parasites). Please double check what you are giving your pet to make sure they are protected against heartworms.

Heartworms are spread by mosquitos so they are pretty difficult to avoid. We do not recommend skipping any doses, even during the winter. Contact your veterinarian if you have any questions about protecting your pet from Heartworm Disease!
