Say hello to Xavi!

He had his first puppy appointment with us today! We don’t know what’s cuter- his giant ears or that little button nose! What do you think?

This sweet kitty is Ace and he spent the day with us!

He has diabetes so we had to monitor his blood glucose levels throughout the day. He was the best patient!

Jill left the clinic today wearing this adorable bonnet!

No, it’s not a new fashion trend.

This is called a No Flap Ear Wrap and it’s going to prevent her ears from flapping around causing more damage.

Jill came in to see Dr. Kastner for an aural hematoma- this is when blood pools between the skin and the cartilage in the ear. This can happen when a dog excessively shakes their head (an example would be a dog having itchy ears from allergies). The wrap is designed to keep the ears stable so they don’t flap around when a dog shakes their head.

While she looks adorable, we do hope she heals up fast!

This handsome, happy guy is Miller!

The first 2 photos are from when we met him last month and the last photo is from today wearing the Cone of Shame!

When choosing an Elizabethan collar, you want to make sure it is long enough to go past their nose, otherwise they can still lick themselves. Miller has been licking his feet so that’s why his “cone” may seem so big.

Dr. Kastner sent him home with medications and a foot soak so hopefully he will be free from the cone soon!
