Did someone say baby season was about over?…… hahaha they lied! As always the late summer babies have started to be born. Here we go again!
In case anyone was wondering, our proffered formula’s for these precious babies is made by FOX VALLEY and some can be purchased on Amazon and we have some in our wish list. But when we buy, we try to buy in bulk, one because we need that much, and two because it’s cheaper that way. We get it straight from
FoxValleynutrition.com

So if anyone wants to order formulas from there and have it sent to us we sure wouldn’t complain 😉
Donations can be sent to our business that “pays the bills” and can be addressed as follows:

As always we greatly appreciate your love and support

Today we got in two heat stroke victims. Two approximately 4 month old raccoons that had been trapped inside a large plastic trash bin with the lid close for who knows how long. They were both unresponsive when they were discovered. Thankfully the finder worked quickly and got wet towels (room temperature, that’s very important so they don’t go into shock) and then got on the phone to me and rushed them over. I have spent the last 5 hours with these poor babies vomiting and can’t stand up and so slowly coming back to life as we worked to cool them off and hydrate them at a speed that wouldn’t send their systems into shock after the stroke. Sadly it wasn’t enough for one of them. One of them passed about 30 minutes ago. And his poor little sibling held onto his and audibly cried! Of course I cried! The remaining one is still not out of the woods yet but is stronger than the other was. Animals have emotions and they grieve just like we do! And they feel pain, emotional and physical, just like we do! So please always be kind to animals and please make sure your pets stay cool and hydrated and please leave some fresh water out daily for our wild friends that just need a little help from us during extreme weather.

🌿 Sunday in the Wild 🌿

Happy Sunday, friends! ☀️ While most people are enjoying a relaxing weekend, we’re busy making sure our wild patients are safe, warm, and well-fed. 🦉🦊🦔

This morning started with bottle-feeding an orphaned raccoon, checking on a bunch of baby opossums, and setting up enclosures for reptiles needing care and quarantine. Every life matters, and it’s such a privilege to help these incredible animals get a second chance at freedom.

💚 Want to help?
• Keep an eye out for injured or orphaned wildlife and contact a licensed rehabber before trying to help on your own.
• Donate funds or supplies like towels, heating pads, or specialized formula—we go through them fast! PLEASE ORDER FROM OUR AMAZON LIST IF SENDING SUPPLIES IT IS MOST UP TO DATE WITH CURRENT NEEDS 🥰🥰
• Share this post so more people know how important wildlife rehab is!

Here’s to a Sunday full of hope, healing, and wild hearts. 🌱

Thank you to all who have donated supplies, money and shared our posts - it makes all the difference!

We are in desperate need of some specific items and thought we would start by asking the community instead of adding items to our Amazon list. Used towels, fleece blankets, 10 gallon tanks with screen tops. 40/50 gallon tanks preferably with front open doors. We have had a significant increase in turtle and snake intakes this year and we need front open tanks so we can stack them to make room for all of them. Dog food, cat food and Esbilac puppy formula is always needed as well and anything on our Amazon list. All items can be dropped off during business hours at our “real job” Rhino Linings @ 10 Collins Industrial Pl ste 3B N Little Rock, AR 72113
Or you can text us @ (501)803-8034 to make other drop off arrangements. We thank you also very much for your continued support!

🚨 FOUND INJURED OR ORPHANED WILDLIFE? READ THIS FIRST! 🚨

If you come across wildlife in need, please DO NOT attempt to feed, water, or handle them unnecessarily—this can cause more harm than good. Instead:

✅ CALL or TEXT immediately: 501-803-8034
✅ Provide the exact location and a brief description of the animal
✅ Keep pets and people away to reduce stress
✅ If safe to do so, place the animal in a small box or container lined with a soft cloth, and keep it warm, quiet, and away from children and pets until help arrives or you can get them to a licensed rehabber.

📞 CALL or TEXT: 501-803-8034
*Please leave a voicemail if there is no answer*

Thank you for caring for our wild neighbors! ❤️🦉🦌🐿️

🌿🐾 Not Just Wildlife! 🐐🦆

Did you know we don’t only care for injured and orphaned wildlife? We also provide safe haven for certain livestock animals like goats, ducks, and other farmyard friends who need help. 💚

From baby squirrels to rescued ducks and everything in between, our mission is compassion — no matter the species. But we can’t do it without you.

Every bag of feed, every vet visit, every enclosure — it’s all funded by generous donations.

If you’d like to support our efforts, please consider donating today. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of animals who have nowhere else to turn and ITS TAX DEDUCTIBLE. 🐾

Over the next couple of weeks we will be slowly moving into our new home after we get off work and on the weekends. We still have a lot of rescue animals “ not Wildlife rehab” and a couple birds “wild” to care for and move also. I will not be able to be on FB much to check posts, tags and messenger. If you are able please contact another Rehabber during this time. If you NEED me please text me!! (501)803-8034 this is the best way to reach me and you get the fastest response this way. Please share this info with anyone who needs it. After we get fully moved in, we still have to build a rehab facility and a bunch of pre release pens. I have a small building separate from the main house that will be used (for now) and the Wildlife Matters hospital and short term rehab. Until I get the other building built/ purchased I will not be able to keep many or keep them long term and will have to transfer to other Rehabbers after they are out of critical care “hospital “. I am working as fast as I physically and monetarily can so please be patient with us!! I have amazing apprentices and fellow rehabbers that can help pick up the slack until we are fully back in running order. Thank you for all the love and support and understanding💙🐾🩷
