Volunteers Needed ‼️

We are seeking volunteers in the Greater East Hartford/Manchester area of Hartford County, as well as in Tolland County. If you are interested in learning our methods for recovering lost dogs and would like to join a team dedicated to bringing these lost dogs back home, please complete an application.

**Flexible volunteering**: You can volunteer around your work and home schedule.
**Opportunities available**: We have roles in the field or tasks that can be done from home, such as design work.

Hey fur-iends, it’s me — Domino! 🎲🐶
If you’re new here (or if it’s been a minute), let me remind you who’s running this show:

🦴 I was a long-time shelter pup — 3 years I waited patiently for my forever home. Then one day, my mom showed up and the rest is history. 🏡✨
🛏 I’ve been living the good life for 9 years now (estimated age = a very wise & spry 12).
🍉 Favorite things? Naps on every surface, bed snuggles, melon, steak, cheese — basically anything that’s not my boring ol’ kibble.
🚗 I’m a car ride enthusiast, professional treat tester, and surprisingly a BIG fan of vet visits (they give me snacks!).
😳 My mellowing out era? Don’t count on it — I still have BIG feelings about motorcycles 🏍️, bicycles 🚲, and surprise joggers 🏃‍♂️ (who are they and why so fast?!).
🌞 This summer, I’ve got big plans: sunbathing, squirrel chasing, more naps, repeat.

👑 He's presumed to be a 3 year old neutered Pit-Dane mix.

He's good with other dogs and kids. No cats though (he chases). He is up to date with vet care.

We have had an increase in bear sightings this year and wanted to share some information with our residents. Remember, simply seeing a bear is not usually cause for concern.

🚩 Please be sure to monitor your pets outside and keep them on leash to prevent roaming and conflict with bears.

🚩 Clean up any and all food sources in your yard - bird feeders included. Keep trash secured.

🚩 Hazing techniques like creating loud noises practiced from a safe distance will keep the bears moving along.

🚩 DO NOT INTENTIONALLY FEED THE BEARS!
