TODAY IS $5.00 FRIDAY Freedom Sanctuary

You might be asking yourself what exactly is $5.00 Friday. It's a day where we ask our friends and supporters to reach into their pockets, piggy banks, sofas for loose change 🙂 and donate just $5.00 to our non profit rescue who does a whole lot to help horses pigs,goats,cows ,sheep,chickens,ducks,turkeys,dogs&cats , including trying to raise enough $ to save a heifer from the auction ,vet is coming next week and Ferrier the following week .
We have a lot of followers and supporters , if everyone donated just $5.00 that would help
Us significantly and would allow us to reach our goal plus not have to worry how to cover next months expenses.
I woke up this morning and took a moment of quiet time to reflect on your generosity and how much we appreciate each of you, you are the backbone &I couldn’t do this with out each of you over the years , without you we cease to exist!

I also just want to say if you are in a tight financial position and cannot afford to make a contribution we understand, if you could just share on your FB 😉 please do not stress yourself, your needs need to come first. Hopefully others who haven't donated before or in awhile can help fill in the gap. I come to each of you with a heart of gratitude and thankfulness. We kindly ask for your support today.

This week will be our gelding CASH! .

We were contacted almost three years ago about a Paso Fino gelding needing a placement .He was found running and emaciated up in north Florida .He started in AG care for months to get his weight back with proper nutrition and care .He came to us on a trailer with our pig Lincoln all the way from north Florida .He was scared and very shy and would not let us get close to him .After many days even months working with him to trust me he finally would allow me to walk up to him in the stall and put a halter on him and a fly mask .Hes come such a long way here at the sanctuary ,he came with a leg injury that reoccured after being with us for a year so we were not able to ride him at all .He recovered from that and my daughter and a helper did ride him a couple times .Hes still a timid boy but such a sweetheart .We have decided to let him just retire and live his life here with out someone riding him .He loves his gf Goldy and will stay by her side all day long .Hes the first to come in for dinner at night ,loves his grain and hay and will
Let you know lol!He just had a birthday yesterday which we believe he is around 17 .We look forward to many more years with him and enjoy seeing his sweet face every morning greeting me from his stall ..I’ll be adding more pics and info when he gets his extra love and care this week ..stay tuned 😉

After hurricane Milton I have lost a lot of work due to the hurricane which supportsFreedom Sanctuary .We need hay,Ferrier,goat hooves done this week &feed and any donation will be appreciated !Thank you all for your continued support !I couldn’t do it with out you all!!!

Freedom sanctuary is still looking for a few volunteers to join our awesome team to assist with barn and animal chores. We are also looking for volunteers remotely to assist with grants and other online task. Must be over 18 or over 14 with a parent with you. We would really like to find a few people that has worked in a barn or outdoors. This heat is a lot! We need help with scrubbing and filling waters, cleaning enclosures and stalls grooming, feeding ,and other barn chores .It is ALL about the animals here so no drama. Ok you all were so helpful with donations and sharing our last fundraiser for our hay roll and all appreciate you so much .

We are asking for donations and sharing the post to raise $250 for hay bales .I Just spent $450 two weeks ago on hay bales and we are getting low again …we could use your help !!!! I can’t do it with out all of you amazing supporters and followers!
