Southwest Florida K9 Services 🐾 Dog boarding & training in North Fort Myers, F🌴
Since 2004, we’ve been helping dogs and their owners build better bonds with expert training and care. 🐕✨

Since 2004, we’ve been enhancing the relationship between pets and their owners. We utilize advanced behavioral training techniques that allow owners to connect with their dogs, and create a lasting dynamic that is mutually beneficial and rewarding. Our owner started his life’s work when training police K-9’s at a local Sheriff’s office. It was that foundation that led to the established business

you see before you now. With a firm understanding of the behavior of these animals, we’re able to effectively condition them to change unwanted behaviors and encourage positive traits. It would be our pleasure to help you and your best friend grow a more positive and lasting relationship.

In Texas today, a police dog from a proud lineage of service was laid to rest after giving his life in the line of duty. His casket, draped in the American flag, lay before rows of solemn officers standing at attention, their uniforms crisp, their faces heavy with grief.

Among them was his mother, herself a retired K9 who had served with another department. When the time came to lower the casket, something extraordinary happened. She pulled forward, lifted her paw, and placed it gently on the wooden lid, as if reaching out to her son one last time.

The stadium fell silent. Officers who had seen countless ceremonies wiped tears from their eyes. In that single gesture, a mother’s love cut through the pageantry, reminding everyone that behind the uniform and badge, this was also a family saying goodbye

Dear Mom and Dad,
I died today. You got tired of me and took me to the shelter. They were overcrowded and I drew an unlucky number. I am in a black plastic bag in a landfill now. Some other puppy will get the barely used leash you left. My collar was dirty and too small, but the lady took it off before she sent me to the Rainbow Bridge .
Would I still be at home if I hadn't chewed your shoe? I didn't know what it was, but it was leather, and it was on the floor. I was just playing. You forgot to get puppy toys.
Would I still be at home if I had been housebroken? Rubbing my nose in what I did only made me ashamed that I had to go at all. There are books and obedience teachers that would have taught you how to teach me to go to the door.
Would I still be at home if I hadn't brought fleas into the house? Without anti-flea medicine, I couldn't get them off of me after you left me in the yard for days.
Would I still be at home if I hadn't barked? I was only saying, "I'm scared, I'm lonely, I'm here, I'm here! I want to be your best friend."
Would I still be at home if I had made you happy? Hitting me didn't make me learn how.
Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and to teach manners to me? You didn't pay attention to me after the first week or so, but I spent all my time waiting for you to love me.
I died today.
Love, Your Puppy

A Georgia police k9 bloodhound has died a horrible painful death by being left in the rear of a k9 police car in the heat of the day
They are saying the heat alarm in the car was not working and the officer left this dog in the car while he went inside a air conditioned police buildin
The officer has been fired but doesn’t seem to get justice for this new young police dog
We had a policy in the K-9 unit with a dog inside was never left with the rear windows shut no matter the weather and we never had a dog die inside the car
I feel sick about the death if you know how bad it is to die this way
