Hope for Hooves Rescue - Unbridled Freedom

Hope for Hooves Rescue is a South Carolina nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating equines so they can, in turn, help restore faith and rebuild trust in those who need it most. Many of our farm animals are rescued from situations of neglect and abuse, and given a second chance to live out the rest of their lives helping

humans who need to experience the equivalent amount of love and healing. Through our various programs and the grounding process of every day farm life, we strive to introduce others to the therapeutic nature of connecting to the earth, animals, and hopefully in the process- oneself. Anyone is welcome to experience the healing nature of our farm- foster children, cancer patients, single parents, domestic violence survivors, human trafficking survivors, veterans, those with special needs and anyone who may be battling inner turmoil.

I am completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, and support you all have given me and our herd here at Hope for Hooves Rescue. 💕

Your kind words, faithful prayers, and generous donations have touched my heart more than I can ever express. Every message, every prayer, and every dollar given helps us continue doing what we’re called to do — rescue, heal, and provide hope for horses qnd children who have nowhere else to turn. 🐴✨

Because of your compassion, our animals have full bellies and warm care — and I feel deeply strengthened by the love surrounding me during this season.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing beside me. Your kindness keeps this mission alive, and I am so grateful for every single one of you. 🙏💛

— With love and gratitude,
Michelle

🌿🐴 Session 4 Update: Healing with Horses 🐴🌿

Today marked our 4th session of the semester in our Healing with Horses program, and what a beautiful journey it's been so far. 💛 Each week, we witness incredible moments of connection, growth, and healing between our participants and our amazing equine partners.

From quiet breakthroughs to joyful milestones, our herd continues to teach us about trust, presence, and the power of being seen—just as we are.

We’re so proud of everyone in the program and deeply grateful for the horses who make this healing space possible. ✨

Stay tuned for more updates as we move through the rest of the semester—and thank you for being part of this journey with us. 🐎💫

REAL POST ALERT:

Many of you know that Michelle, our founder at Hope for Hooves Rescue, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. She has faithfully carried this rescue for the last five years, pouring her heart and soul into fundraising and caring for the animals who depend on us. But right now, her focus has to be on her healing.

Because of her treatments, Michelle hasn’t been able to fundraise in the same way she always has, and it’s taken a real toll on the rescue’s resources. Treatments should wrap up by the end of 2025, and we’re hopeful that by early 2026, fundraising can pick back up again.

Until then, we need your help. If each of our 8,500 followers gave just $10 one time, it would fully cover the costs of caring for the horses here through the entire next year. That would lift a tremendous weight off Michelle’s shoulders and allow her to focus on recovery, knowing the animals she loves so deeply are safe and cared for.

Here’s the heartbreaking truth: if we don’t have the funds to feed and care for our horses, we will be forced to close our doors. 💔 And if that happens, our beloved 'Healing With Horses' program—which has brought hope and healing to so many children and families in the CSRA—will come to an end.

This isn’t just about keeping the rescue open; it’s about protecting the very heartbeat of what Hope for Hooves stands for. The horses who were once broken now help broken children and adults find strength, peace, and love again. Without them, those moments of healing will be lost.

We don’t want to imagine a world without this program… and we know you don’t either. Please consider standing with us now so that Hope for Hooves Rescue—and the healing it provides—can continue. 🐴💜

Will you consider becoming a monthly donor today? Every little bit helps in a BIG way!Together, we can carry the load until Michelle is back on her feet again. 💜🐴

We are a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hooves for making certain that our mission continues for many more years.
