Say HELLO to a few of our fostered babies ❤️
90% of them have their appointments to be vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and neutered next month. That means adoptions are coming in hot!
If any of them catch your eye keep an eye on adopt a pet and petfinder where they’ll be posted first.
We will also have the beautiful 2 year old momma lynx point Siamese available for adoption as well. We named her Cali-sparkles.

Kitten prices START at $200 to cover vaccines dewormer microchip and S/N. The less “desired” kittens are reduced when they can’t find adopters. We also reduce the mommas adoptions at a loss so they aren’t left behind. One of the mommas was a TNR. Adoptions helps us get those mommas fixed to stop the cycle! A lot of kittens come to us sick so there are typically vet bills we incur as well.

In the end it’s all about balance and finding the rescues the best home possible. ❤️

I’m running low on Wet Food for the kittens.
I’ve been ordering a 24 pack every day 🥴
I know it seems excessive but some don’t have their mommas to nurse from so it helps to keep them hydrated.

I’m also running low on the paper pellets. These are easier for me to see what’s going on with their gut vs regular litter that hides it.
They aren’t the most budget friendly but they also make clean up much easier when I’ve got multiple littler boxes to clean every day

Puppy pads are also helpful to throw away when they make a mess.

I’ve been using the Amazon boxes to cut up and make toys for them too.

Rescue disinfectant is also my go to to keep everything sanitized so I run out of that every week it seems.

As I’ve said this will be my last batch of rescues kitties until I can get a partner on board and hopefully build something better for my kitty set up. I’ll still help stray cats get fixed but I’ve been spending SO much lately I need to find a better way so I don’t have to give up cats entirely.

If anyone feels like donating some of these items it would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Sweet Blackaroni ❤️
I took in her litter after someone had asked me to help and sent photos of them much younger.

Like always I said yes. I had a foster lined up and thought they would be easy to find homes for……………………..
The people who brought them to me did donate a bunch of items which I appreciate greatly. BUT they left out that the original photos were of them much younger AND all of them had upper respiratory issues expect for one. ☝️ This one, she growled at us like we were her enemy. I was stressing big time. I couldn’t give them to my foster knowing they were sick. After racking up some vet bills again I was able to find the long haired ones homes quickly after they were fixed.
But this one worried me. I wasn’t sure if she would be adoptable. But once she was alone and had been with us for two months she turned a corner. She became a purring machine. A lover. AND finally I had an amazing family adopt her. I love how spoiled she is. I love getting photo updates. It makes up for all the stress I had originally. ❤️

Not that I’m really doing much because I’m just the middle “rescue” helping to facilitate. I’m happy this sweet stray who had to have her leg amputated is safe in a loving home. Glad I was able to help in any small way possible. She’s such a blessed cutie to have had so many on her side.
Gail you’re a true animal lover doing whatever you can ❤️

I’ve been taking a little breather to focus on our kittens. It’s been a lot of vet bills and sick kitties lately.

Sadly, after I finish finding homes for the rescue cats I have I will be taking a break from kitten intakes. I will continue with dogs but my husband and I agree we need to figure out what we can build for the kitties to make the rescue work better.

I do want to mention how thankful I am for those who sent Amazon packages. I know not everyone attached their name but it’s been extremely helpful in a time where I’m going through money and supplies like no other.

I have kittens in my care as well as 13 kitties (not including 4 I offered to help get fixed and find homes for) in foster care. ❤️ That means sending supplies to them as needed.…as well as providing vet care. The photo above are two different kittens. One is healing well while the other one will be going to the vet tomorrow to get antibiotics. 🥴

Thank you SO much to
Kirsta Martino you’ve been a huge help always thinking of the kitties.
Jen Stine for the kitten supplies
Jen Duffy for the cat carriers and extra donation ❤️
Barbara and Richard for your monthly donations
There’s been a few others. One who asked me not to mention but I don’t know how I could manage without help. Especially with all the unexpected vet bills.

Believe me when I say cats are harder and more
expensive than dogs to rescue. So much time and energy goes into the cats. If I could put a price tag on what each kitten actually costs in a rescue it would be an average of $500 per kitten depending on the age it is taken in. Litter, toys, supplies, dewormer, dry and wet food, formula, bottles, flea treatment, and they almost always have an underlying issue!

So please to anyone who got this far reading: Vaccinate your pets if you ever take in a stray. It’s extremely worth it.

Thought I would share our other rescue pup who was recently adopted had a DNA test done and I’m glad I was pretty darn close with the mini schnauzer! I didn’t know there’s a dog DNA tree too! She’s relate to the second photo Milo!

Finally some good news around here!
Bambi was adopted into a loving home last week. I’m going to miss that sweet face. I’m glad he’ll be spoiled while I focus on my rescue kitties ❤️🥰

It’s National Adopt A Momma Day. ❤️
At least in my rescue book it is! These girls need loving homes just as much as their babies do. Praying they find a forever home that will keep them indoor safe and sound.
