We have been getting a lot of western pads in to clean lately.
Just a reminder of washing your pads often. With sweat and hair build up you get hard spots that dig into you horses back.
Clean them often and your pad will last longer and your horse will thank you for it.

A quick guide to blanketing.

Blanket season is upon us! A friendly reminder about how to correctly, and SAFELY fasten your horse's hind leg straps.
The straps should loop through each other and back to the same side they started on. The straps should be snug, but not tight enough to rub.
Belly straps should also be crossed, front to back, back to front, and Chest clips should always face your horse.

This is how WE do our blankets, if you do yours differently but still safely, great job! Safety and comfort is always the goal!
