Dock Club tonight 5-8
A few things to note!
It will be HOT. Bring your hot weather gear, dress appropriately, bring water for you and your dog, bring your fans, bring your cooling mats or jackets.
If your or your dog do not tolerate heat well- Stay Home you are not missing anything! This is NOT a league night, we will not be getting the rig out. We are limiting it to two rounds of distance jumps tonight (one practice, 3judged jumps). Once you have completed your turns we ask that you take your dogs home to cool off. We want to be as safe as possible.
PARKING:
We do not have the field yet- please plan to park in the gravel. Do NOT block the driveways. Be KIND. Everyone is hot!
If you arrive before 6pm DO NOT park in grooming spots. Also please leave the parking spaces in front of the office for clients to pick up their dogs from daycare. There are parking spaces near the house available, you may park in the gravel in front of the field we sometimes use. There are a couple of spaces in the shade on the right by the dumpster. I highlighted some general areas in purple below.
If you can arrive a little after 6pm (the office closes at 6) this will both help parking and help with the heat as it is suppose to start cooling back down tonight a little. Plus spacing out how many people are there at once gets the dogs through.
If you have a second to respond when you plan to be there this will help us get the board situated.
And remember we have another club night next Thursday and we are hoping for better weather!
