Hi. It’s me. Lily. The owner and your groomer.
Please be aware issues of all sorts happen. From an itchy dog due to a sensitivity to a product to something not quite there with the hair cut.
It happens.
These issues should ALWAYS be brought to my attention so the situation does not go untreated.
What is NOT okay is bringing a dog, covered in who knows what, having me treat it with a medicated bath due to skin issues, and paying only $40 for it, then a day later demanding I don’t even know what to be honest, upset about a hair cut that you gave instructions on, said it looked good at pick up, and now think I did absolutely nothing.
So what happens now?
Well, there’s two options:
1. A touch up appointment where we see what might’ve gone wrong or miscommunicated from the appointment and work on how to fix it
Or
2. I have recommendations of other salons you’re more than welcome to try.
This type of response is NOT tolerated.
I’m happy to work with those who feel as if something is wrong, however I will not entertain accusations, nasty remarks, and inhuman behavior and treatment.
This is my livelihood. This puts everything I need to live on the line. You better believe I do not play around with doing what I do to the best of my abilities.
This pup was a maltipoo who came in smelling like urine and had some skin issues going on. A medicated bath was given, along with the hair cut, shaved feet per request, blow dry, sanitary trim, nail trim, ear cleaning, brush out, and I used a brightening shampoo to try and undo some of the staining from old p*e on her legs.
Total? $40. On top of that, as she was about to leave, she had a p*e accident in my arms, so I took her back to rinse, clean, and re blow dry had underneath and legs so she could go home feeling better and not covered in urine. We keep client files of every dog and what is done every visit no matter what.
Any type of behavior such as this will lead you to my NO CALL list and will be taken off from my services.
We all have days, but please….don’t use others as your money remorse punching bags.
Share a sprinkle of kindness today, hopefully it’ll infect those who have none in their hearts.
