We will be closed on the 4th if July and have decided to work on Monday June 30th to make up for it so we have a few openings that day. We have been swamped and doing the best we can to get back to everyone and get everyone scheduled. 🥰

Good morning!!!! As many of you have heard, a grooming salon here in Newton (Creative Paws) is closing their doors at the end of the month. We wish them well and are flattered that they are referring people to us. With that being said that causes a strain on our already busy schedule. We are doing our very best to get everyone taken care of. Please please please don't wait until the last minute to schedule your appointments. If you have reached out in the past few days, please be patient as we are trying to get back to everyone. Since she announced their closing, the inquiries have been flooding in. We will be trying our best to get back to everyone today and get everyone scheduled. If you don't hear from us today, please reach out again as sometimes technology doesn't cooperate and/or a message may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Texting is and always will be the easiest way to get a quicker response, especially when we are super busy. We love you all and thank you for your patience and understanding. And as a reminder, when you inquire about a price, we will give you an estimated price range as we cannot give an exact amount until we have seen the dog or cat in person. We look forward to seeing you!

Our full de-shed package includes bath with our special de-shed shampoo and conditioner that really loosens up a lot of that stuck undercoat, a thorough blow out (as much as the dog allows), brushing with our special de-shed tools, nail trim (clip and Dremel if the dog allows the Dremel), paw pad shave, ear cleaning (plucking is extra if wanted on certain breeds), and external a**l gland expression (only by request now). We do de-shed treatments on all breeds because whether you believe it or not, short hair breeds shed just as much as long haired breeds!! We also do de-shed treatments on cats IF the cat allows.

*Exact price cannot be given unless we have either groomed your dog WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS or we see the dog in person. You will be given a small price range for a quote when appointment is made.*

Please remember we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not get back to you until Tuesday if you call on those days. Also if you call during business hours and we are busy, we can't always stop working on the dogs we have at the shop to answer the phone. If we did, we would never get done. Yes, we have thought about hiring a receptionist but then we would have to raise our prices and we try to keep grooming affordable for everyone. Texting is easiest for us so if you can text, please do so. If you need to talk to us, please text and ask us to call you back and we will at our earliest convenience. If you leave voicemail, we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you for understanding. :)

During Severe Weather Preparedness Week, communities across Kansas will participate in the 2025 statewide tornado drill. Tornadoes can destroy even well-built structures, uproot trees and send debris flying through the air.

On Wednesday, March 5, at 10 a.m., Sedgwick County’s outdoor warning system will sound. REMEMBER: THIS IS A DRILL. We encourage you to review your tornado shelter plan with your family, employees, or students.
