In this week’s episode of Strays of Our Lives, Lenny endures more heartbreak as he is forced to look helplessly on while hulking hunk Jethro💪 has his first encounter with our enchantress 🔮- and Cornelius, bold as ever with the self-assurance of youth🤠, brings along his sister to meet the mysterious Grey BB.

Despite my insistence that Jethro is headed to his furever home next Friday (yayyyy! 💖), I don’t know how quickly or if ever Lenny will come back from this blow to his confidence. Witnessing such raw machismo and magnetism could do a number on anyone, let alone our sweet and gentle Lenny 💔.

🪞💔When you’re trying to look anywhere but the reality that faces you when your loving and devoted owner goes into assisted living and you’ve somehow ended up here with 30 other cats.

You can just tell that poor Ms. Buttons’ heart has been broken, and no matter how many special snacks or snuggle sessions, there is always a sadness 💔. And how could there not be? So many beloved pets and their owners are the victims of needless housing regulations, and Ms. Buttons is just one of them.

Come visit Ms. Buttons and so many of our other residents whose stories are the same, and help to rewrite this sad reality in which they’ve found themselves 💔🪞.

🐇🩷A Very Necessary Lenny Update🩷🐇

A little over two weeks ago, we raised enough to cover all but ~$197 of Lenny’s total medical expenses!! No small feat when you’re looking at an unexpected bill of $1,017!!

Most importantly, however, is that after his dental surgery and a few less teeth is his mouth, Lenny is feeling like himself again- and can be found at the side door making up for lost time with Grey BB 😭😭.

His bunny is also here and recovering well 🥕.

✨🧞‍♂️If we could have one wish this Wishlist Wednesday -it would be to see Little Girl able to rest like this in a home of her own 🏡. A home where her good days outnumber the bad and she can finally learn to relax without having to be on guard for her every movement. She deserves it, all our shelter babies do, but especially her-especially right now 🧞‍♂️✨

🐇🦷We just wanted to hop ;) on here to give a quick Lenny update- because thanks to you all , we have raised nearly $900 so far, and have his dental procedure scheduled for Thursday morning 😭😭😭😭😭 !!!!!!!!!! 🦷🐇

Hopefully, by this weekend, Lenny will be feeling like himself again and ready to greet everyone’s favorite uncatchable lady, Grey BB. Though Dusty and Nougat will be happy to have less competition while Lenny recovers.

🩷We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared, or just sent our little positive vibes!!! We could not do it without you!! 🩷
