Now we would like Boss to go to a dog friendly home. Please let us know if you would like a meet & greet with this little snuggly dude!

Rescue work never stops, and right now, a couple of our dogs are relying on boarding while we search for fosters or forever homes. Boarding is one of our biggest expenses after medical, but it’s necessary to keep these dogs safe.

URGENT, We need help! Lucky Tales is in danger of closing. We are starting a 2025 Vetting campaign. Please read below.

We have taken a hit this year. As have many. We never fully recovered from the high medical bills on a couple medical case dogs in the past year/two. We hoped our fundraiser Woof and Wiggle would get us that cushion we needed moving into 2025 and sadly it was our lowest profit to date.
For the FIRST time EVER we are in the red. This has literally never happened until now. We cannot pay or fund any other vetting until funds are raised.

For now, our intake has closed. There are two driving reasons for this: finances and lack of fosters.

The reality is, if we cannot gain some momentum in the above areas, we will have no choice but to close. It's obviously not something any of us want to do. However, we cannot operate in the red. We have to be able to pay our vets in full. We also have to be prepared for unexpected emergencies when having animals in our care. Second, we need a steady flow of fosters. Our current fosters who have been with us for some time, take all the burden and burn out. The more people we have fostering, the more animals we can help once financially in a good place.

Our goal is to raise $10,000. We know this is a lot. However, it is necessary to get to where we need to be.
