Today was amazing!! At least 115 pets left up-to-date on vaccinations, 67 dogs tested negative for heartworms, 7 cats tested negative for heartworms/FELV/FIV, all patients either were current or left with heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Humans and furkids alike shared laughs and exhibited great patience. Our staff, veterinarians, and volunteers all were amazing as they processed all of these patients and families through check-in, education, treatment, and records in less than four hours. It’s an organized chaos, we are all exhausted by the end of the day, but we do love our community vaccine clinic days.

Can’t say enough great things about our manufacturer representatives. They continually show up and show out supporting our little clinic so that we can HELP our communities!

Updated to add: We aren’t intentionally excluding anyone. Just following grant guidelines. Hopefully funding will cover more counties in the next cycle. However - our “normal” TNVR package is $65. Our normal cat spay/neuter for owned cats is on special for $125 this month - including all the bells and whistles! Our normal dog surgery package, with all the bells and whistles, starts at $200 this month. We serve Butts, Carroll, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Haralson, Harris, Heard, Henry, Lamar, Meriwether, Monroe, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson counties with Snip Ship meeting spots in most of those counties. Our team had the best time at the first annual Locust Grove FurMarshal Vaccine Event sponsored by Locust Grove Fire Marshal, Henry County Humane Society, and Halo House for Dogs! The volunteers were amazing, the pet owners were excited, and the pets were all on their best behavior. Nearly 100 pets are now up-to-date on their vaccines, and about half have appointments to get fixed. Many took home pet food and everyone took home some great memories.
