About Us:

The mission of the H.E.L.P. Spay Neuter Clinic is to provide a non-lethal solution to the companion animal over-population. We will help control the animal population by providing high volume, high quality, low cost spay/neuter procedures for Coweta and surrounding counties. We offer a unique blend of services at a stationary clinic, combined with an active transport program where we tr

avel to a central point in outlying counties and bring animals with appointments to our clinic. If you wish to bring your animal to the clinic yourself, appointments may be made by calling us at (770) 304-7911. If you are in an outlying area and are interested in participating in our transport program, please contact us via email at [email protected]. The H.E.L.P. Spay Neuter Clinic operates as an outreach affiliate of the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society. We are extremely grateful to the Board of Directors and the volunteers of NCHS for their support and their vision in establishing our clinic. Feral Cat/TNR

Trap-Neuter-Return programs involve the caring capture, sterilization, and vaccination of feral cats. Those who have been vaccinated and neutered are marked with an eartip, and cats adequately socialized to humans get adopted into homes, while the rest are returned to their colony where a human caregiver often looks after their health and ensures that they receive adequate food and shelter. Scientific studies show that TNR policies are the most humane, effective way to manage feral cat populations. Feral cats differ from stray cats, because they have never been socialized to humans. Trap-Neuter-Return programs give feral cats who cannot be adopted a chance to live out their lives without posing a disease risk to humans. TNR policies also protect feral cat colonies from the minimal risk of contracting rabies and prevent these cats from spreading the disease. HSNC strongly supports individuals and agencies who conduct TNR programs. Please contact us about how we can help. Specially Funded Programs:

Through grants and donations, HSNC is able to administer several special programs that fully or partially pay for spay/neuter of animals owned by families and individuals. The HELP Clinic's special funds are: Low Income Fund, The Temporary Financial Hardships, The Feral Cat Fund (for individuals and business owners wishing to control a feral cat colony, and The Pit Bull Fund (to spay/neuter pit bulls). Additionally, we are please to partner with other great rescuers and organizations by providing the services for their own free or reduced cost spay/neuter programs, such as:

Newnan Coweta Humane Society, www.NCHSrescue.org Newnan Coweta Humane Society's Free Spay/Neuter program - a program for residents of Coweta County who meet certain low income guidelines. Newnan Coweta Humane Society, www.NCHSrescue.org Newnan Coweta Humane Society's Cat Advocacy Team - a program for residents of Coweta County who need assistance with free-roaming or feral cats on their property or at their businesses. Fix-A-Bull, a program for residents of Coweta County who own pit bulls, or pit bull mixes (must have distinct visible characteristics of the breed), free spay/neuter and DHPP & Rabies vaccines. For additional information, contact the HELP office at (770) 304-7911, or email [email protected]. We are ALWAYS accepting donations toward the funding of these special programs.

We are thankful to have Brian Osborn with Elanco join us today as we began offering Credelio Quattro, an all-in-one flea, tick, heartworm, hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms.

We saw 26 cats and 67 dogs. Thirty-three pets tested negative for heartworms.

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers. Today, we put a couple of puppies to work on the computer checking patients in.

We just received the sweetest thank-you card from Rusty’s mom, and it absolutely made our day! 🐶✨ Knowing that we could provide Rusty with the care he needed—and offer Judy some peace of mind—reminds us why we’re so passionate about our mission.

A huge shoutout to our incredible team, especially Shawn, for making a difference in the lives of pets and their people every day. Thank you, Judy, for trusting us with Rusty’s care! 🐾💙
